Guidance from the Carnal Mind.
The carnal mind, rooted in the natural senses, is the most inferior means of living. Making decisions solely based on the perspectives of the flesh limits our achievements to what is within the realm of the physical. When we are guided by the carnal mind, we are bound by its limitations. The Bible tells us that being carnally minded leads to death, highlighting the detrimental consequences of relying solely on our natural faculties.
Embracing Spiritual Guidance.
In contrast, spiritual guidance offers a higher form of direction. The law of the spirit surpasses the limitations of the carnal mind. When we allow ourselves to be guided by our spirits, we gain access to information, ideas, strength, and resources that are inaccessible to the natural man. Our human spirit can align itself with two opposing spiritual powers, depending on the goals we set to achieve.
The satanic end of spiritual power may provide temporary help and immediate satisfaction. It may even offer a semblance of magical responses. However, these benefits are short-lived and do not provide lasting fulfillment. They are akin to the gifts offered by the flesh, transient and devoid of enduring benefits.
On the other hand, divine guidance from God represents a different aspect of spiritual power. When we surrender to divine guidance, we receive direction that leads to abundance and growth as time progresses. This path may begin with experiences that resemble death, just as Jesus endured at Golgotha. Yet, it ultimately leads to a resurrection morning, where new life and fulfillment await.
The Significance of Divine Guidance.
Divine guidance is what distinguishes our path as just or unjust. Even the noblest of intentions, without the alignment with God’s will and guidance, are ultimately meaningless. The book of Proverbs reminds us that there is a way that seems right to a person, but its end is the way of death. Without divine guidance, our efforts and endeavors may result in pain, disappointment, and unfulfilled potential.

If we fixate solely on our personality, abilities, connections, and natural endowments, we will find guidance through the lens of the flesh, the carnal base of human existence.
However, if our attention is directed towards negative spiritual influences such as Satan, fetish formulas, or other dark forces, we open ourselves up to be guided by their destructive influences. The story of Macbeth serves as a cautionary tale, where he was swayed by the evil prophecy of three witches, leading to his own downfall. Although he became a king as foretold, he lost his joy and peace from that moment forward. Similarly, Saul sought guidance from the witch of Endor and received prophecies that ultimately led to his destruction.
The Bible warns in Psalm 16:4 that those who chase after other gods will face multiplied sorrows. The direction and assistance obtained from the evil realm of spirits ultimately leads to destruction. The object of our focus shapes our destiny; we become like what we look up to.
Conversely, if we keep our gaze fixed on God for guidance, we will receive direction from Him. To attain excellence and superior guidance in life, we must relinquish dependence on other sources and concentrate our focus on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.
Practical Steps to Receiving Divine Guidance.
The following steps outline a practical procedure for receiving divine guidance. These steps have been tested and proven to yield results time and time again.
1. Focus on God: Direct your attention towards God as the primary source of guidance. Remember, the object of your focus will determine the type of guidance you receive.
2. Specify Your Area of Guidance: Determine a specific area of your life for which you seek guidance. The Scriptures are replete with stories of individuals who received divine guidance because they sought it. Proverbs 29:18 reminds us that without vision, people perish.
