    Unyielding Faith in Prayer

    Unyielding Faith in Prayer

Prayer, a sacred dialogue with the Divine, transcends mere words; it embodies the essence of unwavering faith and relentless persistence. The completeness of prayer extends beyond the spoken request to a profound belief that what has been asked will indeed manifest.

The Faithful Petition: Anchored in Scripture

“Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” – Mark 11:24

Mark 11:24 encapsulates the inseparable connection between prayer and faith. The act of prayer is not an isolated event but a continuum that hinges on the deep-seated belief that, as you’ve asked, so shall it be granted.

Prayer Resembling Wrestling: The Biblical Parallel

The analogy of prayer to wrestling evokes the image of Jacob wrestling with the angel through the night, refusing to let go until he received a blessing (Genesis 32:22-32). Similarly, our prayers should embody a tenacity that clings to the promises of God, unwavering despite any outward contradictions.

Examples from the Bible: Hannah’s Persistent Prayer

Hannah’s story in 1 Samuel serves as a poignant illustration of unyielding faith in prayer. Despite the reproach and barrenness she faced, Hannah fervently prayed for a child, and her persistent faith led to the birth of Samuel, one of the greatest prophets in Israel’s history.

“In her deep anguish, Hannah prayed to the Lord, weeping bitterly.” – 1 Samuel 1:10

Being Unstoppable in Prayer: Drawing from Scripture

To be unstoppable in prayer is to draw inspiration from the biblical accounts of individuals who pressed on despite adversity. Consider the persistent widow in Luke 18:1-8, whose continuous plea for justice from an unjust judge resulted in her favor. The key was her unyielding spirit that refused to accept defeat.

“And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night?” – Luke 18:7

    Life Unfolding Through Unstoppable Prayer

When prayer becomes an unstoppable force in your life, doors open, and possibilities unfold. The Bible assures us that God rewards those who earnestly seek Him (Hebrews 11:6). Unstoppable prayer is an expression of unwavering trust in God’s promises, paving the way for divine interventions and breakthroughs.

    Biblical Encouragement: Elijah’s Persistent Prayer

Elijah’s experience on Mount Carmel (1 Kings 18:41-46) showcases the power of persistent prayer. Despite the apparent lack of rain, Elijah prayed seven times, and eventually, a small cloud appeared, heralding the end of the drought. His unyielding faith in prayer brought forth a miraculous manifestation.

“The seventh time the servant reported, ‘A cloud as small as a man’s hand is rising from the sea.’ So Elijah said, ‘Go and tell Ahab, ‘Hitch up your chariot and go down before the rain stops you.’” – 1 Kings 18:44

Life Opening Up: The Result of Unstoppable Prayer

Life unfolds in remarkable ways when prayer becomes an unstoppable force. The Bible encourages us not to grow weary in doing good, for in due season, we will reap a harvest (Galatians 6:9). An unstoppable prayer life positions you to experience the abundant blessings that God has in store.

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” – Galatians 6:9

In conclusion, prayer intertwined with unyielding faith transforms mere requests into powerful conduits of divine intervention. Drawing from the rich tapestry of biblical examples, we learn that unstoppable prayer is not only a scriptural principle but a profound way of engaging with the Almighty. As you persist in prayer, may your life open up to the boundless blessings God has prepared for those who fervently seek Him.

  • Finding Favour and Blessings

Becoming the “Certain Man”: Finding Favor and Blessings

    Introduction

During my recent Bible reading, I came across an intriguing story in the Book of John, Chapter 5, about an invalid man by the pool of Bethesda. This particular individual caught my attention because the Bible referred to him as a “certain man.” Despite the presence of many others with diverse challenges, Jesus Christ approached and ministered to this specific man. This revelation led me to contemplate the multitude of individuals in life who face various hardships, often remaining trapped in their pain and sorrow. However, there is hope for every person to find grace, mercy, prosperity, and deliverance. In this article, I invite you to become that “certain man” who attracts the love and favor of Christ.

    Attracting God’s Favor

God does not dispense favor haphazardly; there is always an underlying attraction. In the case of the certain man by the pool, there must have been something that drew Jesus to him. Reflecting on this, let us pray that the Lord enables us to become attractive vessels of His love and favor. We should seek to cultivate a deep relationship with God, aligning our hearts with His purposes and living in obedience to His Word. Through prayer and a genuine pursuit of God’s presence, we position ourselves to receive His abundant blessings.

    Prayer for Abundance and Breakthrough

Let us pray: “May I be the certain man for the next line of prosperity, promotion, abundance, healing, and help.” As we aspire to become the “certain man” in our own lives, we should hunger for the miraculous, the supernatural, and the divine assistance that only God can provide. Just as Joseph stood out among his brothers, David was anointed as king, and the widow of Zarephath received divine provision, let our hearts long for the extraordinary intervention of God. By fervently seeking His face, we position ourselves to be recipients of fresh help and favor.

    Learning from Biblical Examples

Throughout the Bible, we encounter numerous individuals who were singled out in crowded places, finding themselves divinely appointed for extraordinary purposes. Consider Mary, the mother of Jesus Christ, chosen to bring forth the Savior of the world. These individuals did not achieve this distinction by their own merits but rather by being open to God’s leading and surrendered to His will. Let us, too, earnestly desire to be instruments in the hands of God, ready to be used for His glory.

    Conclusion

In a world where many people suffer silently in their trials, let us rise above the ordinary and become the “certain man” who attracts the attention of Jesus Christ. Through prayer, seeking God’s presence, and aligning our lives with His Word, we position ourselves to receive abundant blessings, favor, and breakthrough. Just as God showed His love and favor to specific individuals in the Bible, we can become vessels through which He pours out His goodness in our lives. May you be known as that “certain person” who receives fresh help, favor, and miraculous interventions from the Lord.

  • PRAYER, A VITAL TOOL OF A WORLD CHANGER – 2

Last week, we dwell on the power of prayer

    Today again, we will pray.

Nothing changed in our world until prayer goes ahead of us:

Our Lord Jesus didn’t begin his world-changing project until after intense prayer.

Do you intend to change your world for good?

You are going to pray else the forces around you will bury you and the dream.

    Let us pray:

    1. Pray for a strong spirit that desires the word of God.

For without the word, you’ll not be able to discern the move of God and his promises.

The depth of the word will determine your level of exploit.

    1. Pray for a strong spirit that prays.

Since prayer is important, nobody can pray deep without a strong spirit.

When you possess a strong spirit you become a powerful person in the place of prayer.

More so, a strong spirit prays right and prays to receive answers to prayers

Lord, grant me a fervent spirit in the place of prayer

    James 5:16 KJV

The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

The power of the word and prayer are the foundation and pillar of transforming the world.

    3. Lord, I receive boldness of the spirit and the capacity to deliver my dreams and your purpose for my life.

Without the boldness of the spirit, you cannot take over your allotment in life.

Joshua 1 shows God’s repeated admonition to be courageous.

    Capacity means ability.

Lord, grant unto me the ability needed to give birth to my dreams

I want you to continue in deep and fervent prayers – not out of fear but faith that you are moving mountains.

This is your season to give birth to new strength that comes from the inner being.

If you can speak in tongues, express it and mingle it with intense inner fire (I’m not talking about physical vibrations but heart vibrations like Elijah).

The world around you shouldn’t remain as it is now.

Like Elijah, stand for God and let God’s fire be set forth for world transformation.

This is the time to birth newness by the power of the Holy Spirit.

    Hallelujah

  • PRAYER, A VITAL TOOL OF A WORLD CHANGER

    Step Aside and Pray

Someone said: We don’t need prayer, we only need action to change the world.

Without prayer, we will fail a thousand times as a world changer despite all the skills, ability and capacity.

There are more than enough limitations set on the path of a man on a mission that a thousand years he cannot remove except the Spirit helps.

Prayer is the fire that goes ahead to clear the limitations imposed by demonic activities.

The Bible says: We wrestle not against flesh and blood.

Tonight I’ll lay prayers to help us:

    1. Lord, help me to walk in the way of obedience.

    2 Corinthians 10:6 KJV

And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

Without obedience, nothing works for a World Changer.

    1 Samuel 15:22-23 KJV

And Samuel said, Hath the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord ? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. [23] For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the Lord, he hath also rejected thee from being king.

    2. Lord, help me to know what to do and the grace to do them.

Solomon said: Teach me how to rule these people.

David said: It is God who teaches his hand to war.

Lord, teach me the skills needed to move upward and to fulfil my destiny.

    Lord, help me.

    3. Lord, wake up my spirit to do the things that I should do. Remove lethargy, and remove lukewarm attitude.

    Set my spirit on FIRE.

Oh Lord, let the fire of the Holy Spirit descend on me.

When the disciples were on fire grace and power multiplied.

    4. Lord, remove distractions.

Let every distraction on my way be deadened.

Anything that will not add up on my journey of meaning be removed in Jesus name.

Let every voice of distractions be quietened in Jesus name.

    5. Help me Lord, to follow your leading and nudging.

Remove every deadness within my soul.

Let my inner man be alive to follow the way of peace and enlargement in Christ Jesus name.

Let me not go astray Lord.

    Psalm 119:67 KJV
Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word.

    6. May the Lord uproot every power whether human or demonic working against my destiny and purpose.

    The Lord rebuke you Satan.

    2 Corinthians 10:3 KJV
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh

Let every arrangement of Satan against my destiny be consumed by the Holy Spirit in Jesus name.

I refuse to be dominated by Satan or hell in Jesus name.

    7. Lord, help me with every supply needed to advance the course of my life favourably from today in Jesus name.

    Philippians 4:19 KJV
But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

May the Lord answer your prayers… To be continued next.

    Ephesians 3:20 KJV
Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

God bless you and answer your prayers in Jesus name. Amen

  • PRAYER & DECLARATION

We worship you Lord. We declare your goodness and faithfulness to us oh Lord.

We thank you because you’ve made us your prized possession oh Lord. Your goodness overshadows us continually.

For wherever we go, you’re there with us. You daily confirm your abiding presence with us.
We declare the fire of the Holy Spirit over our entire being. Let the fire come and let the Holy Spirit move on our account nightly like never before.

Let the chain break and let the limitations be gone.

We are free to be all we were made to be. We are perfected and we are sailing onward without hindrance by the Holy Spirit in the mighty name of Jesus.

You are our peace and succour. Our comforter and our help. For where would we have been without you. Who could have us saved if you didn’t save.

For we declare that your name be continually glorified in us.

We shall be clothed with beauty and glory. For we shall be covered by thy fire oh Lord.

    Zechariah 2:8 KJV
For thus saith the Lord of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.

    Exodus 15:26 KJV
And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee.

    Psalm 91:1-2 KJV
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. [2] I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

We shall not know poverty for the Lord shall be our sustenance.

We shall not partake of the sicknesses out there. None of these diseases shall find us.

Our place shall be secured in Jesus name.

  • CHARGE

The world will look bleak and uncertain sometimes.

Such times we need to remember the word of God that says:

    Psalm 46:10 KJV
*Be still, and know that I am God:* I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

Sometimes when you want to be hasty or get confuse about all that goes around you remember the word:

    Isaiah 30:15 KJV
For thus saith the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; *in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength* : and ye would not.

Therefore, you have to walk and work confidently with calm and equanimity.

When you don’t know where the next meal will come from, think on this:

    Psalm 37:25 KJV
*I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.*

Believe God will supply as he’s done before.

Do you have so many needs unmet? Hopefully keep trusting in his words:

    Philippians 4:19 KJV
*But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.*

For in his time, he will make all things beautiful.

When you seem to lack strength and capacity to move on, say to your soul:

    Philippians 4:13 KJV
*I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me* .

    Nothing shall stop you.

We will always face one hurdle in life and it will either sink us or make us. All these depend on the word of God established in our heart.

It’s not the mountain that stops us but what we know – knowing what to do to go over.

You either fly over, blast the mountain or make a hole through.

Knowing what to is what determines where we go from where we are at this hour.

This has been my prayer as covid-19 sets in. It’s a period that creates a shift and nullified all my design for this season. So I’ve to go to God for wisdom… To know what to do to connect the lines back.

With God’s wisdom every season is designed for our gain.

    Romans 8:28 KJV
*And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.*

This season, don’t do things the old ways, get wisdom, understanding and direction.

Remember, what you know is what determines your profiting.

This season, your sole battle is knowing what to do.

If there’s anything to do now it is seeking for knowledge prayerfully to know what to do.

I’ll want you pray now: *Lord, teach my heart to know what to do and to act on it in Jesus name.*

  • NOTE TO OUR SPIRITUAL LEADERS

Meditating this morning it came upon my mind to discuss with people with the true power of God who could help change the tides of impending dangers ahead of us.

    Men of God.

Daniel and his friends… Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego decided on many issues in Babylon. We cannot afford to leave Nigeria and many small nations especially in Africa in the hands of leaders without direction and understanding of the time.

    We need to understand:

    1. Our leaders are presently confuse
    2. They have gone to hide
    3. They cannot see the evil game plans of the World Powers. Lockdown being the sign of the time.
    4. They are opened to the largesse and handouts from these international bodies like Esau. They are already falling for the bait.
    5. Soon they are about handing over Nigeria and many African nations as economic slaves to China and the advance nations across.

    6. This is a terrible omen which will lead to blood bath… It’s a vision of the future.

    7. The enemies are at the door, we need to pray against this mopping of nations (including Nigeria) by the cruel master. Another era of slavery shouldn’t commence.

I believe with the assurance of Scriptures we can stop this impending evil:

For Jesus says: we shall decree a thing and it shall be established:

    Let us pray:

    1. God to raise for us wise leaders.
    2. To raise leaders with courage to stop encroachment of these international nations and world leaders.
    3. To raise for us creative leaders
    4. To raise leaders who are courageous and selfless to pursue the interests of the populace.
    5. Above all that God should thwart every evil economic alliance of nations with Nigeria (you can pray for your country)
    6. God should frustrate demonically inspired schemes to enslave weaker nations by the giants of nations.
    7. That God makes ways of escape from enslavement of our lives and generations of our unborn children

    In Jesus name.

  • DECLARATION

I am an embodiment of the WORD.

    I AM

I live in the fullness and the manifestations of the Holy Spirit.

The life of God flows through me unhindered.

I am limitless. Nothing stops me because I proceed from God.

For whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world.

I am born of God, I am of God and I am in God.

My idea is of God. My home is of God and all that I am.

I am an overcome. I have dominion.

The word of God dwells richly in me. I am an embodiment of the word. I receive the word and I live by the word. This word is my light, I refuse to walk in darkness anymore.

For the light shines in darkness but the darkness couldn’t comprehend it. The light of the word shines in me, I refuse to be confuse.

The Lord is my help, I fear not the circumstances of the world and nations. He will help me early. Though a thousand fall at my side and ten thousands at my right side I shall fear no evil.

The Lord is my stay and buckler. He is my anchor. For when the enemies come like a flood, he raises a standard against them.

All that I see is beautiful, nothing broken and nothing missing. All things work together for my good.

For he furnishes my table with fat things. I lack nothing good for the Lord will supply all my needs. He alone can and I believe and I declare.

I have all things on my side and working for my good. Thank you Jesus.

  • GOD ANSWERS PRAYER

This may be a long story but it will bless somebody.

When the lockdown began we thought it will soon be over.

I told people around me. Lockdown isn’t suitable for a small economy like Nigeria all we need is stringent border closure but our copycat leaders think differently.

Presently, effect of lockdown has killed more people than the fear of Covid-19 itself. Wisdom is seen by it’s result.

We believe there are better alternative. Simple but effective.

    Back to my story.

Lockdown is about 3 weeks going 4 weeks in my part of the world. I live in Nigeria.

It’s terrible, men crying like baby, many complaining of headaches and many symptoms of anxiety which wasn’t there before lockdown began to show on people.

Some of us with our little have done all we could do and have spread ourselves thin. So serious a time.

We are all in the mess.

I woke up this morning discouraged, yet I’m given the ministry of encouraging others. I felt like crying like a baby though I don’t know how to. We are all in it.

I need encouragement Lord. I have done all I know. I knew I was also sinking low with everything going down around us.

I do get tire sometimes and some days.

Then by God’s making I opened this scripture and read:

    2 Chronicles 32:6-8 KJV
And he set captains of war over the people, and gathered them together to him in the street of the gate of the city, and spake comfortably to them* , saying, [7] Be strong and courageous* , be not afraid nor dismayed for the king of Assyria, nor for all the multitude that is with him: for there be more with us than with him:* [8] With him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the Lord our God to help us, and to fight our battles. And the people rested* themselves upon the words of Hezekiah king of Judah.

First thing, in spite of the common pain King Hezekiah spoke comfortably to the people. And they were rested.

I’m writing so that you can be rested from all the worries of whatever season you might be right now from the well of comfort I’ve received.

This season God needs people who will speak comfortably with others. For God who’s with us is more than those who are against us.

    My story continues:

Not very long a family called me on phone. I didn’t know what to say. I declined it just like I did a day before. My human strength has ended.

My wife said: Pick your call.

I will when I summoned the courage, I told her. Sometimes you don’t know how to encourage others.

    Then I called back later.

The voice at the other side said: “The children are in the sitting room, no boldness to come out to them. We don’t know what they will eat. What do I do?”

At this point I know I’ve lost my Superman strength and I could not say: Come and have something.

I encouraged him. And I spoke comfortably with him and told him God will surprise him. I followed it with text message to consolidate the comforting.

Afterward I called a sister of mine to comfort and encourage her in a time like this. In the course of our discussion I told her what people are passing through and the incident and why we need to be strong throughout.

I mentioned the incident to her.

She said she will send the money for this family and extra.

Immediately I had money for this person and the caller of yesterday.

Less than 30minutes this family that woke up without idea of what to eat had more than enough for a day.

    God answers prayers

But God also have needs of:

    1. Men who will speak comfortably in a time like this. Not because they had it all but because it’s a duty.

    2. He wants men who will spare. This is the time to share. Once we survive this season, we will make money again and again.

Tell somebody, I may not know how but God still answers prayers

    Peace.

  • WINDOWS OF LIFE

Recently while we were in worship I gained certain divine insight.

It is about the spiritual working of life and death. There are men who stands as windows of life and death in our world.

Let’s look at windows of death. They are men who receive demonic impartation and thereby become carrier of death, so they by nature spread death and destruction. So when the devil wants to bring destruction upon man’s realm he passes through this windows and manipulate their heart to seek destruction of mankind through conceived knowledge. A recent example is covid-19, the spread and economic manipulations worldwide.

Windows of life are men and women who open up their spirit to spiritual impartation by the Holy Spirit and aided by angels spread life because they are carrier of life by the Holy Spirit.

Then I was illuminated further: In a time of death as we have it now we must have men who are earnest to spread life with greater speed than the demons of Covid-19 and the likes. So for death to succumb, the carriers of life must emerge.

This can only be done by intensity of prayers, supplications and deep worship as the Holy Spirit comes down to revive what’s been broken down.

Be a life carrier at your end. Let death stop at your end as you propagate life with greater speed and intensity than the ravaging Covid-19.

To understand this, read this scripture

    Numbers 16:45-48 KJV
Get you up from among this congregation, that I may consume them as in a moment. And they fell upon their faces. [46] And Moses said unto Aaron, Take a censer, and put fire therein from off the altar, and put on incense, and go quickly unto the congregation, and make an atonement for them: for there is wrath gone out from the Lord ; the plague is begun. [47] And Aaron took as Moses commanded, and ran into the midst of the congregation; and, behold, the plague was begun among the people: and he put on incense, and made an atonement for the people. [48] And he stood between the dead and the living; and the plague was stayed.

Somebody must stand between and put a stop to this pandemic of death and backwardness of nations and territories. Enough.

Finally God said into my spirit. Publish this, let men enlist themselves to be Windows of Life in this crucial hour of the world. Some people must make themselves the access through which divinity flow to nations.

Be the man God will count on now, be the life carrier to counter Covid-19 and other bonded troubles of Covid-19 which include economy woes.

Will you stand in the gap? We can!

    John 10:10 KJV
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

    Let us pray:

Lord, let your abundant life overtake the power of death and destruction hovering over the whole nations of the earth this hour. Have mercy in Jesus name.

This is the prayer for the hour, let’s keep praying it.

    May God bless you.
