  • The Predictability of God: Finding Blessings in Obedience

    The Predictability of God: Finding Blessings in Obedience

    In the tapestry of creation, God’s predictable nature weaves through every detail. Just as a goat never births a cock, His design reflects order, patterns, and systems set in place. This predictable nature of God, evident in His creation, extends to His promises and interactions with humanity.

    The immutability of God—the unchanging nature of His character and promises—becomes a source of assurance and hope. It beckons us to align ourselves with His will, understanding that obedience to His commands leads to a life rich in blessings and favor.

    The Scriptures affirm this truth in various passages, revealing God’s faithfulness and predictability:

    1. Malachi 3:10: “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.” This scripture depicts God’s predictability in response to obedience. It’s an invitation to test His faithfulness by following His commands, knowing that blessings overflow when we align ourselves with His will.
    2. Deuteronomy 28:2: “All these blessings will come on you and accompany you if you obey the Lord your God.” Here, the promise of blessings accompanies obedience. It illustrates the predictable nature of God’s response to our faithful adherence to His commands.
    3. Proverbs 3:5-6: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” This passage speaks of God’s predictability in guiding our paths when we submit to Him. It highlights the trustworthiness of His guidance as we obediently follow His leading.

    God’s predictability isn’t confined to a few verses; it resonates throughout the Bible. His promises remain steadfast, revealing a pattern of blessings when obedience becomes our lifestyle.

    When we align our lives with God’s principles, honoring His commands and submitting to His will, we position ourselves to receive the abundance of blessings He promises. It’s not a transactional relationship but a testament to God’s unchanging character and His desire to bless His obedient children.

    Our Heavenly Father’s predictability invites us into a life of faith, trust, and obedience. Just as the natural world follows set patterns, God’s faithfulness and predictability transcend time and circumstance. Embracing His predictable nature brings about a deeper understanding of His love and care for us.

    In conclusion, let’s anchor ourselves in the unchanging, predictable nature of God. As we faithfully walk in obedience, we can rest assured in His promises, knowing that a life aligned with His will is a life abundantly blessed.

  • Secret of Having Your Needs Met

    Secret of Having Your Needs Met

    Jesus, as the ultimate example of purposeful prayer, illuminated the importance of aligning our petitions with the will of God. In Matthew 6:10 (NIV), He taught His disciples to pray, “Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” This highlights the essence of prioritizing God’s intentions over our own desires.

    Consider the profound depth of Jesus’ prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane (Matthew 26:39, NIV), where He fervently prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.” Despite His human apprehension, Jesus submitted His will to the Father’s, demonstrating a profound example of aligning with God’s purpose.

    Often, our prayers can be overshadowed by self-centered needs, restricting our understanding of the divine nature. Philippians 4:6 (NIV) encourages us, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” However, it’s crucial to couple our requests with a profound seeking of God’s will.

    Let’s consider an illustration: Imagine someone fervently prays for personal success in a venture but fails to consider whether it aligns with God’s purpose for their life. Their need-centered approach might lead to temporary fulfillment, but it could ultimately lack God’s intended blessings and fulfillment.

    Contrastingly, a prayerful individual seeking to understand God’s will concerning their endeavors would take a different approach. They might pray for clarity, guidance, and wisdom to discern whether their desires align with God’s purpose for their life. Their prayer becomes an avenue to seek divine direction and alignment with God’s intentions.

    Therefore, Jesus’ emphasis on seeking God’s will in prayer guides us to transcend mere need consciousness. It prompts us to delve deeper into the divine purpose, ensuring that our petitions are rooted in God’s intentions for our lives, fostering a more profound experience of His divine life.

  • What Love Experts Don’t Tell You

    DECIDING TO MAKE IT WORK IS ALL YOU NEED

    In order to guarantee a blissful relationship, one must make a conscious decision to pursue it. This decision is not to be taken lightly, as it holds the power to transform the dynamics of a marriage. When we grasp the simplicity of this statement, we can find true rest within our relationships.

    Struggling with the truth of marriage will only lead to further disconnection and fragmentation. We are all just a moment of decision away from the life we truly desire. It is crucial to decide what we truly want: holding onto our egos, the need to always be right, and the pursuit of perfection, or embracing the path of bliss.

    Figuratively, many marriages resemble a picture where couples walk in different directions within their hearts, separated by an invisible wall. This image conveys messages of ego, lack of agreement, stubbornness, and a poor understanding of the essence of marriage.

    This pattern will persist until one person decides to break it. It often takes just one individual who comprehends the true meaning of marriage to initiate positive change. There are those who, when faced with their spouse’s shortcomings, choose to retreat to their own tents. Ego, self-righteousness, self-exaltation, and hardness of heart have all contributed to the absence of bliss in many homes.

    Using the picture as an analogy, one person must wholeheartedly decide to do everything in their power to make the marriage work. It is important to remember that any good thing in life comes with a price. Just as a verdant field must be nurtured, freedom and bliss in marriage require a sense of responsibility.

    Rather than waiting for your spouse to come crawling back, take the initiative to meet them and resolve issues. Even when your partner has squandered everything, like the prodigal son, maintain a watchful eye and be ready to embrace them with open arms. Remember, as a Christian, this is the only valid path to a blissful marriage. To argue against it is to settle for the old, unsatisfying experiences.

    When you resolutely determine to make your marriage work, it will. With unwavering commitment, you can let go of your ego and create harmony within the relationship. While you may have initially believed your spouse to be the cause of all the problems, your response can either heal or worsen the situation. Don’t stay perched on your high horse, but instead, humble yourself and work towards reconciliation. Recall that Jesus came down to earth to save us, and he did everything possible to redeem the sinner.

    Do your utmost to support and help your spouse. Once you have done your part, divine power will step in and grant you the bliss you seek. Bliss in marriage is a crown reserved for those who are willing to sacrifice and pay the price. It is the reward for turning the mess within your spouse into a message of love and understanding.

    Discard the advice of relationship experts who speak without true knowledge and experience. Listen to those who have walked the path before and can say, “We have handled and tasted these things.” Follow the wisdom of those who have paved the way.

    If this message seems difficult to comprehend, save it and revisit it until its meaning becomes clear. It holds the secret to unlocking the bliss within your marriage.

  • YOU ARE THE ROCK

    .
    .
    .

    When you find Jesus, when you find the purpose of your life, you automatically become the rock

    Today’s discussion is uniquely designed to help you find WHO you are and thereafter lead to the expression of the SUPERNATURAL YOU.

    Some many years ago, I took time to watch wrestling that featured a guy called The Rock.

    He was beaten, pummelled and whipped. Everyone thought it was over. Then like a miracle he stood up and won the match.

    Like this man, you are made to win in life no matter what you go through.

    This starts with new thinking and orientation to identify with your real self.

    Many of us are living outside of who we are made to be due to the circumstances of our birth and the environment we find ourselves.

    You shall be called the rock

    A case of Peter

    Peter was called Simon, which means reed.

    By extension, the word reed connote weakness, fragility or softness.

    This was the name the world gave him. He answers to it and could have been his label all his life.

    Then

    He met Jesus

    When Jesus saw him, he gave him a new name – Peter which means rock.

    Every man by natural birth is weak, frail and incapable of outstanding things.

    Thus the reason why many live shy and with low esteem.

    Many people choose to live their lives for mundane things, a lack lustre inferior life experience.

    So doing, they never came to terms with who they are.

    You are a rock

    The extraordinary life of man isn’t about flesh and blood but an answer to a higher calling, responsibility and purpose.

    When you answer, the divine power begins to flow through you. Then you become the expression of who you were originally made to be.

    You are more than this

    A Communication of the new name

    Peter would have lived all his life as a weak and unstable person; a shadow of his real self.

    Then he met Jesus

    Have you met Jesus?

    I’m not saying that do you go to church?

    I mean this: Do you have communion and fellowship with him?

    It’s through communion or fellowship that you can hear your new name in your spiritual mind.

    Personal relationship leads to personalized assignment and life.

    When you walk with the Lord for a while you will realise your new name: The Rock

    Once Peter became the rock, he went on to do amazing and outstanding feat.

    The ordinary fisherman became a wonder to many

    Knowing who you are opens the doors:

    God is saying to you: If you take the step now, I’ll back you.

    If you take the step, nothing can bring you down. For I am with you.

    In conclusion: remember Gideon, Joshua, David and the host of others.

    When they stepped out on purpose they became invincible in accomplishment.

    You are the rock – Petra

  • PRAYER, A VITAL TOOL OF A WORLD CHANGER – 2

    Last week, we dwell on the power of prayer

    Today again, we will pray.

    Nothing changed in our world until prayer goes ahead of us:

    Our Lord Jesus didn’t begin his world-changing project until after intense prayer.

    Do you intend to change your world for good?

    You are going to pray else the forces around you will bury you and the dream.

    Let us pray:

    1. Pray for a strong spirit that desires the word of God.

    For without the word, you’ll not be able to discern the move of God and his promises.

    The depth of the word will determine your level of exploit.

    1. Pray for a strong spirit that prays.

    Since prayer is important, nobody can pray deep without a strong spirit.

    When you possess a strong spirit you become a powerful person in the place of prayer.

    More so, a strong spirit prays right and prays to receive answers to prayers

    Lord, grant me a fervent spirit in the place of prayer

    James 5:16 KJV

    The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

    The power of the word and prayer are the foundation and pillar of transforming the world.

    3. Lord, I receive boldness of the spirit and the capacity to deliver my dreams and your purpose for my life.

    Without the boldness of the spirit, you cannot take over your allotment in life.

    Joshua 1 shows God’s repeated admonition to be courageous.

    Capacity means ability.

    Lord, grant unto me the ability needed to give birth to my dreams

    I want you to continue in deep and fervent prayers – not out of fear but faith that you are moving mountains.

    This is your season to give birth to new strength that comes from the inner being.

    If you can speak in tongues, express it and mingle it with intense inner fire (I’m not talking about physical vibrations but heart vibrations like Elijah).

    The world around you shouldn’t remain as it is now.

    Like Elijah, stand for God and let God’s fire be set forth for world transformation.

    This is the time to birth newness by the power of the Holy Spirit.

    Hallelujah

  • WORK WHILE YOU WAIT – RELATIONSHIP

    https://chat.whatsapp.com/KkvRxPQsjKYBUw9qv3YIMY

    WORK WHILE WAITING (Contribution by Brother Ajayi)

    Before we go deeply into this topic, I will to first of all define the term ‘WORK’.

    WORK can be defined as effort expended on getting a particular task done.

    So, that means if you already have the view of getting something done, then, you have to get working on it.

    And as we all know, or as we should know, Relationship and Love affairs needs proper working on both in the individual sense and in the union.

    What does WAITING signifies?

    WAITING simply signifies the patience, looking forward to and the space in-between to getting our very desired wish.

    Now, we as individuals should begin to realize this fact that before you can have a perfect union, perfect companionship or relationship… There are works that must be done in all areas of our lives.

    Some of those WORKS and how to get those WORKS done are what we are delving into now

    As an individual, both male and female, we must begin to realize all these things for a perfect relationship life and most of all marriage life to be assured.

    Below 👇 are the points to note:

    WORK on your Prayer life.

    Prayer is a vital thing that must be used in getting what is needed for us.

    It is a key that opens all mighty doors.

    Prayer helps an individual to be having deeper connections with his/her maker.

    If you don’t want to be lazy while married, now is the time for you to rekindle your prayer life and never get lazy.

    Your laziness today while still waiting for that perfect man may well affect you even when you eventually go into that union.

    Remember, a prayerless life is what the evil forces out there are ready to feast on.

    Pray without ceasing!

    Pray fervently!

    Pray day & night!

    Pray and get what you want through prayers and direct connection with your maker.

    WORK on your Business/Career life

    Under this number 2, most singles out there miss it a lot.

    Most of today’s Singles will rather rely on friends, fathers, mothers, boyfreinds, etc to get themselves going in terms of finances.

    Before a single guy or lady can categorically say he/she is ready to move into any serious thing, he must have a conviction of where he’s headed on life. Most importantly, his/her Career life.

    I will like us to observe some three (3) important things under this section.

    They are:
    a) Your Dreams

    b) Your Aspirations

    c) Your Skills.

    What are your Dreams?

    I recently came across a particular definition of Dreams, and it explains it like this:

    Dreams are series of events or pictures happening in one’s mind while sleeping.

    Hmm

    While sleeping.

    I want us to be in the Spirit with this teaching this evening and mark that very line… WHILE SLEEPING

    That means in your state of unconsciousness, in your state of weakness, in your state of not being fully empowered, you still have your dreams and goals with you.

    But the most important thing here is not just to dream alone, but to make sure your dreams are brought into reality.

    And all of these must be accomplished while still Single.

    So, you see,

    Being Single is when an individual must get at work for personal development more and more

    Another thing up there is

    Your Aspirations.

    What do you aspire to become or do?

    It is now that you’re still waiting that those aspirations must begin to come to pass

    And another is your SKILL

    What Skills do you have?

    What are your Skills?

    What have you been doing or accomplished so far with that Skills?

    Do you even have a Skill of your own?

    Are you ready to makeup time to learning the relevant Skills?

    Have you even realized your Godgiven Skills yet?

    Let’s move to the Number 3

    WORK on your Emotions

    As we all might have known, what drives most Single guy and lady out there is Emotions.

    Emotions are part of us, but it shouldn’t dictate or decide things for us.

    The mistakes most Singles are making or have made is because they allowed themselves to be driven by Emotions.

    If you are even going to be driven by Emotions, make sure it is on the positive side.

    Never allow your Emotions drag you down.

    Most Singles out there will say:

    All my friends are getting married and I am still single… My Brother & Sister, that is Emotions trying to drive you and it may make you make some rash decisions that may negatively affect your life till the end of time.

    Work on your Emotions and make the best use of it.

    Always remain Positive at all time!

    Never feel bad for what you’ve not achieved or received in life but instead, pursue that which is needed the right way.

    CONSISTENTLY WORK ON YOUR HEALTH

    Do not pursue the affairs of this life and totally neglect what your negative state of health is saying.

    Make sure you are lively and in all areas of your life including your state of health.

    Are you healthy MENTALLY?

    PHYSICALLY?

    PSYCHOLOGICALLY?

    SPIRITUALLY?

    All of those things must never be neglected.

    As much as you feed yourself with the needed nutrients for the body, you must always do the same if not more for your Spiritual health.

    Make sure you Mental state is right at all times.

    Read books that will improve your decision making.

    Go into friendships, groups, organisations that will improve your mental state and your physical well-being, not the one that will drain life completely out of you.

    WORK on your Relationships

    It is of a surety that the mistakes most of us are making in life is simply a replica of the kinds of relationship we are into.

    A popular saying:

    Show me your friend and I will tell you who you are.

    Who are your friends?

    What kind of relationship/friendship do you keep?

    Hope you’re not into any toxic relationship that will hamper your destiny?

    Now is the time to work on that too and make the right decisions.

    WORK on your Sex life.

    It is in our state of being Single that we all must completely work on our sex life.

    Do you fornicate while still single?
    It may affect your marriage life.

    Do you even have the needed sexual discipline towards a perfect union?

    Hope it’s not that you as a guy always run after everything under the skirt?

    Hope it’s not that you as a lady is selling away your body and future with just a token and sweet words?

    NOTE: The way you would like your sexual life to be when you’re married must be seen in you while still single.

    So please, work on your sexual discipline.

    Also, make sure you keep your body and mind pure from all immoralities.

    Know this fact that all affairs of life starts right from the heart. ❤️

    So, keep your heart pure and you will achieve this.

    However, if you need help on any dysfunction that may be somewhere around your body or life, please pray for God’s restoration and also, seek medical help.

    Finally my brethren, be the person you would like to have for a life partner.

    Work on your self first in all things and also position yourself aright and the right person will come your way.

    Be the person you want to have!

    NO ONE IS GOING TO COMPLETE YOU.

    You can only have someone to complement you, not complete you.

    You are you.

    No one is entitled to make you complete

    Make yourself complete first and do all your personal works and development on yourself… Then, everything will begin to fall into place for you.

    Remember, it takes just the right decision for us to have the best Union.

    And it starts with the level of Work we all put in into achieving that.

    Thanks so much for your time here.

    It’s been a pleasure sharing this wonderful time with you all, I am Bro Ajayi

    Shalom!

  • YOUR MOST LOYAL TEAM MEMBER

    There was a story of a CEO who had an employee.

    Due to some careless miscalculation, the employee caused his employer a loss to the tune of $40,000.

    The employee was sad and remorseful she tendered her resignation.

    The employer told her he is not retrenching her, he needs her more. The employee was surprised: why will he restore confidence in such an employee that has caused so much loss?

    The CEO said to her: you are the most expensive member of my team; what this just mean was that I spent more to train you.

    He kept her and she was very grateful for that. She turned out much better.

    What this story underscore is this: the most important member of your team will often constitute those who have failed you more and whose offense or error you overlooked.

    Jesus said of a woman who used large amount of anointing on Jesus.

    The pharisees complained: Why this waste?

    Jesus answered: He whose sin is forgiven more loved more.

    The bottom line: The more you’re able to forgive sins and embrace people of divergent view will be the extent you will be loved, honoured and cherished.

    Enemy converted often serve better than lukewarm friends.

    Don’t be too quick to discard people. They are your most important assets… More important than money.

    With people you grow more wealthy plus healthy social circle.

    Cultivate healthy relationship even with the undeserving.
    Not because of them, but you

    Lesson from politicians: Politicians are one of the amazing people.

    Thet could easily embrace a long term enemy once they have common ground.

    For your health

    Don’t build a lifetime enemy – as long as it lies on you.

    You can force relationship, but make sure the irreconcilable aspect isn’t from you.

    Christian

    If politicians can move on, why would you make or have a lifetime enemy?

    All the disciples falter, yet Christ took them all back.

    David took back Joab and Abishai when they failed him.

    Even Absalom… He was ready to forgive him.

    Even Shimei who cursed the king.

    Leniency isn’t weakness but strength.

    It will be the stability of your kingdom.

    We all have kingdom.

    Yoruba has an adage: Elders who don’t get angry have many children.

    Build quality relationship with the good , bad and ugly . You’ll need them all.

    You’ll get to a bridge that you cannot cross in life in spite of what you have… You will definitely need somebody to help you.

    I heard a story today that stirs this talk:

    A man had a company. His elder brother asked him to sack one of the company driver.

    To the amazement of his elder brother, the man improve his relationship with his driver.

    When he was asked why he retained him despite some obvious wrongs committed by the driver, the employer responded:

    If I sack my driver, will my elder brother do his work?

    When you are tempted to destroy a relationship, ask yourself deep questions. Don’t be shallow.

    REMEMBER: EVERY MAN HAS A TREASURE WITHIN.

    Harness the gift of men; that’s your greatest asset.

    Prayer: Lord, help me to value the gifts of men you have given unto me.

  • TAKING TERRITORIES Part 3

    *PART 3… TAKING TERRITORIES*

    The greatest battles are fought in the mind.

    Until you capture the mind of people you cannot influence them reasonably.

    Going over the scriptures of last week:

    The biblical story of the mad man of Gadara in Mark 5 and Luke 8.

    We see a man whose mind was taken over by demons.

    Once his mind was taken over, the rest was story… He goes about doing the wishes of those spirit.

    Whosoever takes over the mind rules a life.

    *In the same light, whatever controls our mind will determine how far we can go in life.*

    _Ultimately, it’s not the circumstances of life that differs but how we think and process situation that lend to our lives how far we will go and what we will become_

    *Proverbs 23:7 KJV*

    *For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he…*

    No one go beyond what his mind approves…

    And no matter the fortune we come into, we end up back to the level of our mind.

    *Here are two instances in my discussion with someone today:*

    1. A woman lives in USA. Very comfortably that she housed a large church in her home.

    She became sick, suddenly somebody who was far beneath her in education, exposure, wealth and travels lured her to Nigeria down to a herbalist.

    Then she died.

    *The lesson:*

    No matter how one rises in life, if his mind isn’t renewed he will fall back like pack of cards in time of crisis.

    So the Bible says… Let your mind be renewed.

    2. A friend talks: My prayer is… “Let the will of God be done.”

    I told him, there must be a specific will we want of him.

    When Jesus prayed at Gethsemane for the will of God, he had something in mind.

    The Bible say we should ASK… And we shall receive….

    Without this knowledge of asking, we will be children of God and we will remain despondent of the paraphernalia of grace.

    *Now we are were we are going*

    *When we want to take territories, we ask and demand for it:*

    … This is a function of what’s on our mind… If you think you can, then you can

    Psalm 2 expressly tells us: ASK OF ME… TERRITORIES

    Psalm 2:8 KJV
    *Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.*

    _In the kingdom, you take territories to the extent of your asking… The only clause is that you take the kingdom for God in the name of Jesus Christ_

    This means that we can grow in impact infinitely if ALL we are about is to the glory of God.

    Like the story of the mad man of Gadara, if we fail to take the territories allotted to us, the enemies will take them.

    Note: There’s no free territories, the one we fail to take, the enemies will take on:

    The media
    Business
    Moral
    Politics
    Governance
    Entertainment
    Etc.

    *This takes us to different territories:*

    Some of us do believe that Christians territory is only at the church… No, no…

    The bible says: the earth is the Lord and the fullness.

    Politics and governance is bad because of the kind of players in it.

    *Politics and governance is bad because of the kind of players in it.*

    Finally, prayerfully find a territory to take for the Lord. You can.

    God bless you.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    WALE ADEWUMI
  • TAKING TERRITORIES Part 2
    Animals have territories… Lions, leopards, eagles.
    Man a higher being also demonstrates the strive to gain territories.
    Ancient wars are set in motion in order to gain territories… Such wars gave birth to Roman empire, Grecian empire, Yoruba empire and many other.
    The Bible also confirms this as we watch the rise of Egyptian empire, the nation of Israel, Syria, Assyria and Babylonian empire.
    *The world is set that way…*
    The bottom line is that you’re either expanding your ground and horizon or you’re being swept under other people’s power and influence.
    You’re either growing or diminishing. Somebody is gaining while another is losing.
    *Territorial influence starts from the mind.*
    Territorial growth is something you’re not allowed to joke with…
    *There’s always a territory to take by everyone that cares*
    The difference is that in modern day, civilization has moved the world from gaining territories through warfare and killing.
    In modern days we have moved from struggling and forceful taking over.
    This is attributed to the impact of the gospel and the Bible
    *In today’s world we don’t takeover by the sword but by the spirit/Spirit and by the mind*
    Therefore the battle for *territories* have been moved from land to the *mind* by the *spirits/Spirit*
    _So we can say that territories are conquered in the mind in order to be won out there_
    What you failed to win within you cannot be established in your outer world. Thus the taking over is an inside-out job.
    *This is the basics of the Elevation Code… Reconstruction of the mind…*
    *We hereby ask for the help of the Holy Spirit in this*
    *_In today’s world we don’t takeover by the sword but by the spirit/Spirit and by the mind_*
    There’s a biblical story which is of immense help in Mark 5 and Luke 8.
    It’s the story of the mad man of Gadarene
    In order to render him useless demons (spirit beings) took over his mind. He became insane as a result of thousands of demons living within him.
    The demons took over the territory of his mind. As long as this spirit took over his mind they keep controlling his world.
    *Therefore, whatever controls your mind controls your world*
    Whatever you lose in your mind you lose out in your world.
    *Proverbs 4:23 KJV*
    Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
    What changes us is the transactions that takes place in our mind.
    When the demons within the mad man were cast out, the mad man turned around from being violent to becoming a disciple of Christ.
    Surrendering to Christ is the beginning of spiritual exchange for dominion.
    The mad man upon submitting to Christ became a new man.
    When Christ is settled within you, the Holy Spirit the comforting Spirit enters into you and by deliberate communion your mind grow in capacity to embrace all that God wants for you.
    You either allow the Holy Spirit to lead you or you’re opened to demonic attack.
    *As I round up remember: The biggest territory to win or lose is the territory of the mind*
    Your world is opened to you according to the frame of your mind.
    *Proverbs 4:23 KJV*
    Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
    Your mind is the foundation of all the good ground you’ll ever take.
    God bless you.
  • TAKING TERRITORIES Part 1
    Christians by perverse messages from the pit of hell scale downward and play safe and little and thereby lose relevance where it matters.
    Ask many of us what we think about politics, our quick response would be: It is for the devil’s children.
    I told somebody that what causes sinfulness isn’t much about the kind of job you’re engaged in but sin nature within one.
    We have teachers who are crooks just as we have politicians.
    David was a political leader yet was a man after God’s heart.
    The point is: God has assigned each of us to a domain where he wants us to make impact?
    Have you discovered yours?
    *Taking Territory
    Now to the main meat, get set for this message should change and transform you
    *Take territory*
    What the message is saying is that you should stop playing small.
    *Why*
    1. *The Bible accounts*
    The Bible account from Genesis to Revelation is about individuals, society and nation and their quest for territories.
    Abraham in Canaan has account that he grew mighty with lands, servants and riches.
    Joseph was Lord in Egypt
    Joshua fought for the promised land
    David brought under nations around him and he grew into many lands yet he remained the friend of God
    2. It is the nature of man to gain dominion.
    God told man to multiply and to have dominion.
    Playing small in the name of humility is a sin and against the will of God
    Genesis 1:27-28 KJV
    So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. [28] And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
    Our design to live in dominion is in tandem with the image of God
    God’s throne and kingdom has no end.
    Man in his image want to take over and explore the universe.
    Do you know that we are already at the edge of people building cities in mars very soon… Another planet
    What that means is that you stop playing small at your little corner.
    Like the butterfly, it’s good to stay for a while in your cocoon, but to stay longer than is due is to die frustrated and depressed.
    To stay too long at a position for *too long* is depressing…
    The baby has to be in the mother’s womb for 9 months, but beyond that it becomes uncomfortable.
    When you first arrived at that height you were glad, but now you felt it’s time to fly to a new height.
    If you’re feeling that way don’t feel guilty, for it is the nature of God to grow.
    3. *Jesus words confirm it*
    Luke 12:32 KJV
    Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
    When we talk about kingdom we are talking with the mind of two conjoined words…
    King…. *Dom* ain
    King
    Domain
    *You cannot have a king without a domain*
    In my own good understanding, every one has a domain, but it’s left for us to appropriate and to harness it.
    Many of us live like destitute at the mercy of the horned Lucifer…
    We are not called to live at the corner of life as victim.
    I cannot imagine God lying. If he says he’s given us a kingdom, I want to believe it wasn’t an imaginary kingdom please.
    Luke 12:32 KJV
    Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
    Jesus here used an endearing words… Fear not, little flock…
    He looked at his disciples. They seem trembling and hiding from being the impact makers…
    Then he seem to become their motivation teacher…
    Telling them… You’re more than you’re… You have a ready kingdom from the Father.
    4. *The kingdom is within us*
    Luke 17:21 KJV
    Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
    Jesus is saying here… The kingdom or territory you’ll have is according to what you could see within you.
    The kingdom of God depends on how far each of us can see.
    God owns the universe but he gives each of us a part of the whole….
    Psalm 24, the earth is the Lord and the fullness.
    5. *God wants increase*
    The parable of the talents illustrates this of a king who gives of his talents to servants… Those who multiply it were given more and entered into the master’s kingdom.
    *God frowns at stagnancy*
    _As a Christian and leader make your life a forward movement. Our God do not accept excuses fr man_
    You’ll realize that the servant who failed to trade his talent was cast out in spite of his numerous excuses
    See beyond and grow beyond. It’s time to take territories.
    *Before rounding up I’ll want to clarify a grey area.*
    1. The Old Testament is written with the mind of a physical world… So acquiring territories has to do with physical lands and conquering of people
    2. The New Testament is written with the mind of a spiritual world… So acquiring territories has to do foremost with the liberation of the spirit and soul (mind) of man.
    Jesus believed that if your mind is sound you can take over properly without necessarily enslaving anybody.
    So as a Christian, your most important conquest is taking over the territory of your mind…
    Jesus Christ picture of the kingdom or territory or domain is beyond money, fame or status as we see Christianity today.
    Jesus picture is about doing the will of God and being faithful in all his house to do ALL he wants us to do.
    Taking over is being impactful according to the design of God for our lives.
    Taking territories is about establishing the kingdom of God over the kingdom of the world.
    Taking territories for a Christian is about setting the life and nature of God in the world of men.
    Finally, taking kingdom is about knowing you’re free and living accordingly.
    Knowing that you can be ALL God wants you to be because the KINGDOM of God is in you.
    It depends on you how far you want to go in life according to the power that works in you.
    Ephesians 3:20 KJV
    Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
    Till next week Time …
