PART 1 – STRUCTURE OF A MEGA TEAM
A team is a group of individuals coming together to pursue a common dream, purpose or ideal.
This means that a team should be much more homogeneous, united and of common front.
We are looking at the structure of a world class team using certain scriptural examples
Jesus Christ built a world class team worth studying. There has never been anyone who has touched lives like Jesus Christ.
From generation to generation his message is sustained. How was he able to do this?
Looking at Jesus, we need to reflect on how he was able to reach the entire world yet without himself being everywhere by himself
Jesus did this by creating a leadership structure which is presently serving many corporations and mega organizations today.
*In building a strong team, the first thing you’re to realize is that you cannot be everywhere and you cannot touch everyone at the same time.
Man is localized.
Jesus while on earth raised to himself 12 disciples
*Twelve is a very large number to impact or affect directly by an individual.
Some years ago I went for an interview in a multinational company and I was asked how many people do I supervise directly and I proudly responded 9
The interviewers laughed.
They told me: for effective management of people you cannot directly supervise more than 5 people at a time. This was an age long principle embedded in Christ’s leadership structural design.
Of this twelve Jesus had three close allies: Peter, John and James
You effectively and directly affect 3 people optimally.
Simply, if you want to reach to the world, find your best 3 hands and by multiplication you would reach the world… I mean the world.

And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart
Why you need to understand this principle of 3 is that it makes your world level vision easy to pursue. It removes stress and strain of trying to be everywhere.
This is how the world class performers live. By so doing they do more.
Archimedes says: give me a place to stand and I will move the world.
In world impact design, your primary drive is raising your first strong loyal 3 who will be sold out to your dream or ideal… The rest is done through replication.
Again after the next 3 we have Andrew, Philip, and Nathaniel.
Even our Lord Jesus will not win the whole world at a time, 3, 12, 70 and 500 and so on…
Looking at the structure the organizational cell is 3 based on law of double reference.
Let’s look at the reference in the Old Testament:
*David had his 3
2 Samuel 23:8-13 KJV
These be the names of the mighty men whom David had: The Tachmonite that sat in the seat, chief among the captains; the same was Adino the Eznite: he lift up his spear against eight hundred, whom he slew at one time. [9] And after him was Eleazar the son of Dodo the Ahohite, one of the three mighty men with David, when they defied the Philistines that were there gathered together to battle, and the men of Israel were gone away: [10] He arose, and smote the Philistines until his hand was weary, and his hand clave unto the sword: and the Lord wrought a great victory that day; and the people returned after him only to spoil. [11] And after him was Shammah the son of Agee the Hararite. And the Philistines were gathered together into a troop, where was a piece of ground full of lentiles: and the people fled from the Philistines. [12] But he stood in the midst of the ground, and defended it, and slew the Philistines: and the Lord wrought a great victory. [13] And three of the thirty chief went down, and came to David in the harvest time unto the cave of Adullam: and the troop of the Philistines pitched in the valley of Rephaim.
Jesus as a man read the scriptures and he must have read of David mighty men.
For effective organisation leadership impact create structures around 3 and maximum of 5.
Be sure you’re able to influence 3 effectively, they become your model for others to emulate
Looking at the 3 mighty men of David, their staggering impact and superpower they serve as inspiration to countless citizens of Israel.
If your message is powerful, if your model is tried and tested among 3, it can serve a generation.
Seek to build a strong team around 3, ask them to build their own strong team and so on and so forth.
*A unique scenario worth mentioning*
In the days of Moses and the warring Israel we also have leaders of 10, 100, 1000, etc.
You raise leaders over large number after you’ve been able to sell out your vision, message or purpose
10,000 people with discordant message will lead to confusion and crash.
3 united voice will shake the world.
