A FRESH START; A NEW SEASON IS HERE
Yesterday is gone, today is a new day. Rise up to the moment. The failures of yesterday should not create a grave for your tomorrow. Take your failures of the past as the cocoon that will give birth to the beautiful butterfly of tomorrow.
We all remember our beautiful butterfly, the beautiful butterfly. It is not always so. There was a time it was caged in a thick subcutaneous layer where the young creature is immovable. It lives its life in an enclosed case. Yet it keeps growing until a new season emerge and it cast off the cocoon and fly out to embrace a new season of freedom; then light comes.
Psalm 30:5 is a shouting Scripture for those who walk in darkness for a season… weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.
Today is a new day. Don’t allow yesterday’s failure to keep you down. What you see is what you become. Stop seeing unending spate of poverty, failure and lack-lustre life. Change the vision and change the beat. Stop dancing to the music of satanic host who are out to destroy lives. Stand out; do not cooperate with the devil. Declare only what God says and dance only to the rhythm within your soul.
Life has seasons, it will not always be a dark night, the light will come after the darkness, the flood will not last for a lifetime and the drought will give way to the raining season. Singing will come after mourning and laughter after a time of pain. The evil days will not pervade eternally for a child of God who walks in his faith. Be opened to a new day, forget the former things for the Lord is out to do a new thing. Here is the season of a new thing.
Joseph named his son Manasseh. He looked back and said: God has made me to forget my season of the pit experience, my moment of servitude as a slave, the season of my imprisonment and time of forlorn hope. It is a new day, it is Manasseh.
Make everyday a new day of hope for in due season the King (The Lord) will call on you to be honoured.
