RELATIONSHIP 101

You want to be happy?

Recently, I have this lady who by the look in her eyes felt we are more lucky in my relationship. We do quarrel sometimes, yet there’s a deliberate unwritten code that calibrate every of my action: I want to be happy. So I don’t want any attitude good or bad from my spouse to get in between my choice of being happiness.

Happiness is a choice we make.

Over the years I realize many people personally sabotage their own happiness.

The truth is this: certain persons can never find happiness based on the way they live.

Happiness isn’t accidental, it’s a harvest from the seed you sow into relationships.

You need to understand this rule: No one can be happy without others. Happiness isn’t an exclusive gift.

To be happy, simply means making others happy.

I read recently a quote I will paraphrase here: Anger and bitterness is a poison you drink for other people’s mistake.

The bible enjoined us thus: As much as it lies with you, be at peace with all men.

As long as you have somebody you’re not ready to forgive, don’t forget doing this gives the devil a hold to keep you sad.

Somebody said: Hey you, you’re lucky with that relationship. My response: Being happy is a choice.

This choice has less to do with what your spouse does or doesn’t do.

I have this rule when I enter a neighbourhood: Don’t fight with anybody until you leave. In between, people are going to show many bad stuffs but I’ve learned to keep my cool.

The extent you make others happy will determine the quality of your own happiness.

When everybody around you is bad, then remember that the saint in you’ll always want to justify your sadness.

Ignore the bad side of people, embrace their good side.

When you keep somebody down, you too will go nowhere.

Don’t you know this is foolish attitude? You fight your spouse morning, afternoon and night and you expect to be happy, healthy and joyful. I doubt it.

Deliberately remove the cause or reason for unhappiness. If you cannot remove these reasons, then ignore them.

In this life, you’ll have many reason to be unhappy.

Whatever means, live happily by choice… And make happiness a habit.
