Understanding our strengths is crucial in discovering and walking into our destinies. Just as a cow can never outrun a horse or a fish cannot thrive on land, each life form has its own inherent strengths and abilities.

Jeremiah, a man mentioned in the scriptures, was called and ordained by God even before his birth. Joseph, chosen to deliver his generation from famine and starvation, gradually stepped into his purpose as he grew. These stories serve as inspirations, reminding us that our destinies can unfold naturally when we are in a state of alignment and openness.

The Story of Mr Samuel:
The story of Samuel serves as a cautionary tale for those who never venture into their destinies. Samuel, an elderly man, found himself down and frustrated, resigning to a life of lamentation. He blamed his parents, family, church, government, and everything around him for his unfulfilled destiny. However, the truth is that the person to blame for a failed destiny is oneself. Neither the devil nor witches should be held responsible.
As the Bible states, what you allow or forbid on earth is reflected in heaven. If you make up your mind to succeed and fulfill your destiny, you will.
Arising into Leadership and Influence:
The prodigal son in Luke 15 provides an important lesson. He made the decision to arise and return to his father. Today’s teaching aims to stir and encourage you to rise up into leadership, influence, and the destiny you are called to live. Everything remains stagnant until someone takes action. The decay in society, the poverty in Africa, the corruption in government, and the lethargy of preachers at the pulpit will persist until someone arises to make a difference.
Addressing the Problem:
One common obstacle individuals face when embarking on their destinies is the belief that they lack resources such as money, connections, influence, education, and support. This mindset leads to inaction, waiting for someone else to lift them up. However, the truth is that no one will help you until you start somewhere. The journey of destiny begins with taking a step of faith, even in the face of limited resources. Within your calling and purpose, there is provision. Waiting for ideal circumstances will only result in a wasted life.
Acting in Faith:
The book of Ecclesiastes wisely states that those who only observe the weather will never sow their seed. Great and influential individuals we look up to did not start from the top. Some even had more challenging backgrounds than you. It is important to understand that when you begin to live and act in alignment with your destiny, unseen hands will guide you to places of help, provision, connection, and resources that you will ever need along the way. This is the essence of today’s teaching.
Living your destiny requires more than just discovering it. It calls for action, perseverance, and the willingness to overcome obstacles. Building Yourself into a Recognized Brand: The Price of Launching into Your Destiny
In the pursuit of your dreams and destiny, there is a significant aspect that often goes unnoticed. Nobody is ready to invest in untested hands. If you are just stepping out, you will be responsible for the cost of your own launch. That’s the price you must pay. The world tends to stake their money on known brands. Until you become a known brand, you must go solo and bear the costs yourself. Many people shy away from this experience, preferring to hitch their wagon to the success of others. However, in doing so, they limit their own growth and potential. In this article, I want to share a personal story of developing myself into a brand and the lessons I learned along the way.
The Journey of Developing Myself:
When I started on my journey, I had no connections, no money, no influence, and no notable background. All I had was a dream and the unwavering will to make it a reality. The limiter in my progress was seeking validation, support, and financial assistance from others to move forward. I soon realized that this approach kept me stuck for years.
It was then that I came across Jeremiah 17:5-8, which taught me the importance of not placing my trust solely in human beings but in the Lord. I understood that if I wanted to go far in life, I couldn’t wait for anyone. I had to take the first step.
Paying the Price:
The journey of building yourself into a recognized brand requires paying a price. You have to be willing to venture into the unknown and bear the burden of your own dreams and aspirations. As you work on your dream with unwavering focus, help will meet you along the way. But you must be the first to take the initiative and take responsibility for your own success. This might mean sacrificing comfort, financial security, and the reassurance of others. It requires persistence, resilience, and a deep belief in yourself and your abilities.
Developing and Adding Value:
To truly succeed in life and become the brand you envision, you must focus on developing and adding value to yourself. Invest in your skills, knowledge, and personal growth. The extent to which you develop yourself will determine the value the world sees in you.
