*THE ELEVATED LIFE
I’m bringing this as a hint to one of my programs starting the new year and at the same time, happens to be my internal programming for next year.
*2021 shall be MY YEAR of ELEVATION*
Psalm 121:1-2 KJV
I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
[2] My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.
Why we have lived the same kind of life from year to year is because we keep our eyes down…
Looking at our problems
Looking at the fault of our spouse
Seeing the fault of the government
Looking down and looking around.
David said: I’ll lift up my eyes to the hill… Unto God who’s my help.
Those of us who were good in mathematics those years can still remember the topic on Elevation and Depression.
In mathematics, if you’re dealing with mathematical solution on Elevation, you’re talking about looking upward.
Mathematically, depression is about looking down.
So simply put, many of us are depressed because we are looking down and around us.
When we keep our eyes down to the world challenges we will never know joy.
It’s time to look upward beyond the earthly
Next year, make it a year of looking upward unto the Lord
Without the Word of God you would have no power to look up. So the importance of letting the word dwell in you richly.
What you hear determines whether you’ll be depressed or elevated.
If you listen to the worldly affairs and relegate the word of God, you’ll be down…. Next year be rich with God’s word.
What we behold or who we behold determines our joy or sorrow.
2 Corinthians 3:18 KJV
*But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
Again Paul says the same thing as David: when we lift up our face up we would be changed from glory to glory.
Do you want a life of glory this coming year? Look up to God
Putting your gaze on the earthly is sorrow upon sorrow. Nothing of the earth can give lasting joy.
This is established truth.
Again, if next year will be a year of elevation, it then me you have to up the following areas:
Your:
skills
Character
Interpersonal skill
Ideology
Etc.
Next year you will need to take your life to a new height… This has to be a deliberate thing.
This starts with intense prayers going before God with boldness…
Hebrews 4:16 KJV
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
Next year shall be a year of grace for elevation… We shall possibly achieve in one year what others make in ten years because we will look up unto the hills.
