OUR LITTLE FAITH

Peter saw Christ walk on water. He by faith ask: If it be you walking on water bid me come.

Jesus said: Come.

To everyone that want to do great things Jesus is saying: Come.

To those who want to start a ministry, he is saying : Come.

To those who are heavy laden, he says: Come.

Peter came, yes he walked on water for the moment.

We too for the moment could see God’s hand and mighty interventions, but for a moment.

Like Peter, we began to sink in the ocean of fears and anxieties. Our faith is troubled.

We are troubled.

Here is the lesson for us: Peter had the little lesson for us.

When all faith was gone, he had a little faith left.

Peter called: Lord, help me.

Like Late Archbishop Benson Idahosa said in one of his preachings, God will never leave anyone who called on God for help.

What makes one a spiritual giant isn’t absence of challenges, but the capacity to call out on God.

To everyone who is down to nothing, mount up the little faith and call out: Lord, help me.

So it was in a ship while Christ was sleeping. They ran to Christ: Don’t you care, we perish? They ran to him for help. Then Jesus rebuked the storm.

Many of us thought Jesus has slept off, yet oblige to stir the little faith: Run to him.

Peter slipped downward into the sea, but his little cry wouldn’t go unanswered. Jesus came early enough before Peter was swept down under the sea.

May you receive the power to call on the Lord by faith right now.

That little faith to call is all you need to start the birth of your miracle.

Lord, help me.
