*I SOUGHT FOR A MAN/WOMAN TO STAND IN THE GAP
Ezekiel 22:30 KJV
And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.
Many marriages have crashed because of unreasonable expectations from one another.
Without the understanding of unconditional love, your love relationship no matter what will become burdensome.
Marriage is the best description of Christ’s kind of love. If we are truly of Christ, we will keep that marriage.
Who for the undeserving sinners he died for…
Unconditional love:
We say: If only he’s better.
Some says: if only she’s better mannered.
Another says: he/she is lazy.
Some due to such disproportionate grace have divorce or push to the background the less endowed. According to scriptural truth, it should not be so:
Marriage is: till death do us part.
You keep it going by grace understanding the kind of love Christ ministered unto us.
The sin of the world couldn’t sink Christ…
The darker the world, the brighter the glory and reward of Christ was.
No matter how dark your marriage seem, if you’re of Christ, it’s going to give birth to glory.
I’m not saying it’s going to be easy but you are to endure like good soldier of Christ to bring forth beauty that’s truly yours right in that marriage. We pack our baggage when the going get tough… This shouldn’t be.
How do you treat your spouse?
I am like this grandmother to you tonight saying:
STAY THROUGH…
A sister shared the testimony of her grandmother standing with her mom and insist she remained married to the same man all through life.
After marriage, I don’t want to see you divorce… Every other wife left her dad as they entered his life. She stayed through to the last.
I don’t share the regular marriage teaching common out there because they are not biblical and not enduring.
You know why: their fruits leads to more divorces.
They teach you to love in good time and don’t let you know the whole truth that you’re to love at all times by the grace of God. For we can do all things through Christ.
There will be dark days… But as children of God you’re light… The light doesn’t succumb to darkness.
In Christ’s marriage you don’t live good or godly because your spouse is good.
You live the greater life because you’re of Christ… A citizen of a heavenly and higher kingdom.
Carefully follow please:
No matter how awkward your spouse is, you cannot sink if you understand Christ’s kind of love.
Why do you think we have more divorces and broken homes than the days of our father?
A subconscious programming due to the kind of message we are hearing.
You are saying: You don’t know the kind of person I’m married to that’s why you could preach that I remain.
Stay through. By staying you’ll learn many great lessons in humility, submission, love and character development.
Ezekiel 22:30 KJV
And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.
He need one man to show to the world that God is ever faithful to those who walk righteously with him. God knew others may back off. All he needs is one man.
Hear Jesus: If any man shall say to this mountain be cast into the sea and shall not doubt. He shall have whatever he says.
The truly Christian is the one in dominion. You shall not go in haste. Speak to the rocky heart of your spouse, move the imposing mountain in your marriage.
We don’t back off.
God needs somebody (man or woman) to heal the home of
1. Demonic attack
2. Poverty in that marriage
3. Adulterous life of the spouse
4. Training godly children
5. Happy home
Etc
*God wants someone to stand in the gap*
The mountain of your marriage can honour your faith…
Do you know:
Nothing win against the resolutely determined. With godly virtue you’re in charge in spite of the ravenous torrent in your marriage.
Why that marriage has been going down hill is because each of the pair is waiting for the other to do something about the situation around. Stop waiting for your spouse, not too long enough until you are engulfed with:
Shame
Lack
Trouble
Divorce
Death
Etc.
Do something. Go ahead and peradventure your spouse will join.
God needs one man/woman
Truly, God believes in the power of union.
Yet, God believe in the power of a resolved one man fighter… When others backed out.
And if your spouse failed to do something…
You can make the change. Your marriage is of God, stand with him and win through. Truly, it was an entire army that ought to take on Goliath, but when they backed out, a Shepherd boy came onboard in the name of Jehovah.
He won victory for God
Your marriage is of God, stand with your spouse and win.
Should I tell you this bitter truth:
All marriages are given as wild orchard… You tend it into a beautiful garden with beautiful fruits
The marriage you envy isn’t a cheap gift, you cultivate yours as you want it to be. Even God himself started out with a world in chaos. He stood aside and declared what he wants.
Don’t allow the devil to dictate what you have from that marriage…The ugly situation is of the devil not of God.
Don’t take nonsense from Satan… Say what you want. Take back your possession. Stand, stand, stand.
Sometimes, that brother isn’t lazy. He’s merely wearing a cloak of satanic manipulation…
If only you’ll stand long with him, you wouldn’t know he’s a multimillionaire in naira and dollar.
Stand
That wife beater. Pray until he has the conversion of Saul of Tarsus, then you see an angel who has gotten an encounter of heaven.
Nothing spoil that’s taken truly to the feet of Christ.
Now I say: Be as a strong man/woman before the throne room. With God, nothing is irredeemable. Nothing spoil that’s placed at the master’s feet.
Stand in the gap.
And as a son/daughter of faith, when we have done all, let’s stand, stand. You are equal to the task, stop waiting for your spouse.
You may be a gift to him/her for a time as this to conquer the storm around your home.
*You are the change, that marriage needs. Yes you’re
Ezekiel 22:30 KJV
And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.
Thank you, may the Lord heal that home and make it a blessed paradise and a model of homes as you break through the barriers in Jesus name.
Ezekiel 22:30 KJV
And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.
