Reflecting on the book of Genesis Chapter Two I realize that the first assignment Adam carried out still remains the assignment of every man.
The Bible said: Adam named every animal and by inference everything created. And whatever name he gave them remains the name they bear.
Today, God gave us the same earth within which we have wives, children, businesses, goals, aspirations, intentions, and many things. Our outlook of things aren’t important as the name we give to that situation. So God is waiting to stamp the name you’re calling that confrontation of life, that challenging child, business and circumstances.
You have dominion not by the reason of what you’re facing but by the reason of what you say. On the way to the Promised Land God knew Israel will face giants but God was at the same time waiting for what they’ll say.
And God responded: What I hear you say, that I’ll do.
Those who named the situation as death got death while two of the rest Joshua and Caleb who named life got life gifts and inherent benefits.
Despondency, frustrations and timidity is a reflection of your inner frame than it is of the situation you are facing.
What’s the name you’re giving out to your marriage, business, covid-19 experience, economy situation of the land? Remember, man is given dominion to give names to his life experience as he choose. We are in the business of “naming” like Adam. The ball is in your court. Proper naming of our circumstances is the path to dominion and liberating experience.
What do you call your wife or husband?
What do you call your son? What do you see in him? How about your business and pursuit in life?
Be creative about naming your situations and cause it to embed abundant life for you and people around you.
You are made for dominion.

And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. [19] And out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof. [20] And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.
YOUR WEEK OF BLESSING
As you go this week, give the circumstances of your life positive and delectable names. Paint your world into the picture you want it to bear trusting God to make it so.
Name everything according to your expectations not according to your experiences in time past. Those who make the world get better don’t fold their hands resignedly to the status quo. They see a new and brighter future.
Those who will make the nations better must move beyond what they see now. Look beyond, this is your path out of frustration.
The Bible is a book given to enhance a new vision from mankind.
Abraham saw the ram for the sacrifice; a prototype of Jesus for man’s cleansing from wretchedness. David firstly saw the defeat of Goliath before the actual death of the giant. The old prophets all saw a kingdom whose builder and maker was God.
And I see the Lord, seated on the throne. See yourself as the apple of God’s eyes. See yourself as the blessed. You are the head and not the tail. For all things shall work out for your good in Jesus name. Based on what you see within you give name to your circumstances like Joshua and Caleb.
The name you call things around is what you get. What you see becomes your reality.
About Covid-19, do you see covid-19 defeating the world or Jesus reigning.
See your children are coming forth bright and clever. They shall turn out glorious. Your economy shall be according to the riches of Christ not the economy of your country. You shall be blessed in Jesus name. Blessing is a spiritual stuff, when you believe much in it you receive the deposit in your life.
I am blessed.
In all your undertaking you’ll not give birth for trouble, your ideas, family, business shall not be for trouble in Jesus name.
All that’s yours shall be preserved in Jesus name
Regarding covid-19 or whatever circumstances challenging God’s greatness in our lives, we shall not be troubled by the scourge. God will be with us all through.
Finally, we shall live for God and be righteous before God and man in Jesus name.
