My prayer is that we get the actual import of covid-19 from spiritual perspective. Many will not understand, I believe you will.
Man runs from the created elements and creatures like covid-19 when he has fallen and missing his estate of dominion. So when man is under an intense attack like covid-19, it basically means that man’s intensity into sinfulness and unrighteousness is unparalleled in the last many centuries past.
So it’s not doctors or social distancing that will bring cure but a closer spiritual outlook in seeking the face of God. The root has to be addressed, doctors can only care but not cure.
As I always say, man is not made to run away from anything on earth. No matter the challenge, man is given capacity to solve it and gain dominion if only he positions himself rightly. In biblical history as far as I know, plagues or pandemic comes in the midst of gross life of vanity.
Plagues or pandemic or whatever that’s challenging our existence is a sign of need to go back to our Creator and his principles. I’m not saying that life in Christ is void of its own challenges but according to scripture, there are things that are untrue of true children of God. It doesn’t matter if the whole world should die of covid-19, God will remain true and unchanging.
So his words remain that he will make strong those who are steadfast. Do you know we are made to heal the sick. So, we cannot keep running from covid-19 and of such.
I believe we can learn from the story of Israel in the Bible. Whenever they walk right with God their enemies including plagues, beasts and human enemies were driven from them. When they walk in their sins, their enemies become stronger. Juxtaposing this, it means humanity needs to go back to God. Doctor’s palliative and social distancing, hand washing, etc are mere window dressing of the deep decay. May God help mankind to think beyond the surface.
This is not the time to behave like the thief on the left side of Jesus who in the throe of death was sarcastic and abusive of divine things… A thief without remorse of conversion. Let’s restore back Christ, godliness and God-nature and we shall see that the challenges of the world will abate considerably.
Why do we care?
If man refuses to convert God is not obliged to their cry. Because by our choices we decide our specific outcomes in life . We need God amidst the present crisis. When he visits, then can we find usefulness from other invention of man.
