    BULLY JONES

    Sometimes ago, there was a man called Mr Jones and married to Mrs Abigail. As expected their love flourished at the beginning and Mr Jones tenderness was faultless.

    No sooner did they get married that Mrs Abigail had to live with a different man. He was a beast who had to contain himself just enough to get her into the house.

    He is the dominant figure. Strong, aggressive and outgoing. Making money was easy ride for him. He bought cars and built for the family palatial edifice.

    Outwardly everything was OK. Abigail was the envy of every woman. But her home was hellish. She wished everything was a nightmare. But this was her reality.

    Her husband was an unrepentant wife beater. He maltreated her to the point she lost her voice and cease resisting him. Left on her body was scares of his cruelty.

    She found out that resisting Jones makes her suffering to double. So she suffers silently for years. Jones was so brash and unfettered that couples of times he brought women to his matrimonial home and brag about it – that his wife wouldn’t say a thing against his action.

    The children began to come one after the other. They had three beautiful children. These children were the only consolation of Mrs Jones. Yet she wept silently without the knowledge of the kids.

    The kids grew to know their dad as a bully. They knew no better home so they too were subservient and having to tolerate him. These children grew to learn to run hiding when their dad is coming home instead of running happily to meet him.

    He was fearful but he was happy being a terror at home. His thought was that by so doing he was commanding authority and as a no-nonsense man. The home was festering under incommodious peace. Everybody was living and growing in spite of the terror at home.

    There was money and Mr Jones was willing providing it. He believed that’s all a father does and he brag about it of how he meets all his family needs.

    The kids one after the other got admission into foreign universities as if there was a gang up to do that. After their degree they refused to come back home.

    As good children they were sending good things home though Mr Jones had no lack.

    Mrs Abigail was now in her mid-fifties when Margaret her first daughter invited her to London during childbirth. For the first time, Abigail knew freedom in decades. It was time to go back, she began to cry asking Margaret reasons why she can no longer go back.

    The love of mother and daughter. Abigail stayed back and began working herself, leaving Father Jones all alone at home.

    At her vacation she travelled to other kids of hers. This is about fifteen years after her first travel abroad.

    Mr Jones is in Nigeria being cared for by a house help and nurse. In his old age, he couldn’t harvest love he failed to plant in the growing years of his marriage.

    What he sowed he got abundantly, he spent well on the kids. They grew up to become great in life with more than enough money to send home but his bully attitude caused him to lose his family outwardly. They were never comfortable staying around him so coming home was never enticing to them.

    He is presently on the sick bed with stroke – all alone; waiting for death. The bully is left to struggle for survival by himself.

    This is how the almighty Jones ended up a lonely person in his big mansion; all because he failed to tame the beast in him.

    THE SHADOW AND THE REALITY – PLACE OF THE WORD

    Today we will be looking at the place of the word and our faith. At the end of the day I do believe the word will bring deliverance unto many in Jesus name. For the just lives by faith and we live from faith to faith.
    Not from faith to fear

    Not from faith to anxiety

    Not from faith to oppression

    Not from faith to frustration

    The reality of a Christian is: from faith to faith.
    So before we proceed, let us ask for forgiveness. Looking at this, many of us have erred and sinned. Since we have taken many decisions outside of faith.

    Now I want to talk about the power of witches and wizards: No matter how seemingly powerful those things are, whatever we are afraid of is shadow while anything that strengthen our faith is the reality. They manipulate and create fear. When you succumb, their enterprise becomes your sinking “reality”

    Whatever the devil and witches do are shadow to distort the truth of the word of God. Only the word of God is our reality as children of God. Every ground not founded on the word is false – sinking ground.

    The human, the car, fame, etc… As they come they go. So, your experiences come and go but the word of God stands forever.

    OUR ONLY REALITY IS THE WORD OF GOD

    The only report we are allowed to believe is the report of the Lord. It is immature Christians that equate God based on their experience. Whatever the word didn’t say, we are not allow to promote or believe in.

    We have talked about the natural and supernatural, and we established that everything natural isn’t real… They pass away with time

    Poverty isn’t our reality

    Sickness isn’t our reality

    Death isn’t our reality

    Oppression isn’t our reality.

    When the Israelites equate God with the giants, they wept and ran away until somebody came with faith… Joshua and Caleb.

    Your life experiences is a reflection of your faith or fear. If you gain nothing today, let it be this message: You are equal to your faith or fear! And when you equate your God based on your experiences, the situation isn’t going to change.

    Somebody said it should be louder please:

    If possible I can keep repeating it like a broken record just to emphasis it again and again:
    This is why being a Christian doesn’t stop the works of witches and wizards. What stops it is faith in the name of Jesus. So a Christian that jitters at the mention of diabolical power is already in their control. If you fear witches and wizards, you begin to see their operations more and more in your life.

    You cannot rule anything you’re afraid of.

    This is where we are going: Do you live in the shadow of darkness, fear, satan or reality of light, faith and Jesus?

    When you had a bad dream. It’s a dream God wants you to pray about. This is often why you have bad dream; to show you things to pray about. But if you entertain fear, it comes to pass and destroy you.

    It takes David who was not under the spell of Goliath to defeat Goliath. Whatever you’re afraid of, you cannot defeat. For the fact that you’re experiencing a thing doesn’t make it a biblical reality. For the fact you are oppress doesn’t make it true. Only what God says that’s true.

    It’s because you submitted to the force; that’s why it’s controlling you.

    We destroy every witchcraft spirit policing our lives and making us redundant in Jesus name. We shall not be put to shame. We shall not accept weakness and poverty as our realities in Jesus name.

    Let’s begin to ask for power of dominion over every satanic force that rules over us and our families in Jesus name. We tear down every power that makes uncomfortable with pains and stress in the name of Jesus. In Jesus mighty name have we prayed

    We receive abundance of your Spirit, your word and your life in the name of Jesus.

    We are free and we enter into the reality of the word of God. Our children are free, our seeds are free. Lord we enter into the covenant of abundance. We are not giving an inch to the devil’s manipulation over our lives.

    Everything that doesn’t agree with the word we pull down in Jesus name. Make us people of faith and people of power.

    Lord have mercy on everyone praying earnestly and through and thorough.
    Amen.

    To as many that want to give their lives to Jesus we pray:

    Lord give your children a new beginning and deeper experience of salvation.

    Help them to live above sins and all manipulations of the devil.

    Is there anything they are believing you for? Lord answer them in Jesus name

    LEADERSHIP AND CAPACITY – Part 2

    This discussion is necessary in order that we might find rest and be at ease with our own very self. Nobody can be like us in the whole universe and we cannot be like anyone else
    Each of us fill a space and with unique capacity to function.

    In that function do we emerge as leaders.
    When you find your capacity and function within that, you become a leader.

    The question is: What are you created to deliver to this generation? Within this function is the discovery of your leadership function.

    Unfortunately, many of us are befuddled by the lying facade of politics wherein we refer wrongly to political juggernauts as leaders. Leaders are found in every field and spheres of life.

    Authority and title isn’t leadership

    Somebody can be an MD yet in time of crisis people look up to the plant engineer.

    Somebody can be a president yet have little influence over the followers. While somebody else can be just an elder statesman and the community look up to him for solution.

    It’s the functioning in a capacity that makes one a leader. A title without function is a mere decoration.

    How do you get to know a leader?

    They create influence

    They chart new course

    They bring solution

    Their impacts are felt

    They make the world a better place.
    In view of the above:

    Can you be referred to as a leader?

    Can your political leader be called truly a leader?

    From the above, we learn that:

    A leader has a function

    A leader stands out in what he does

    A true leader is a function of purpose.

    This means he finds his place and function within that capacity.

    A true leader doesn’t crisscross and become all things to all people. To become outstanding, you must find out things you cannot deliver and stay clear of it.

    Nobody is made for all things, nobody can do all things.

    The teachings of the bible makes this clear.
    Even in the work of the ministry, let each of us know that we have a limitation to what we are called to do per time and in a lifetime.

    Jesus knew while he was alive that he was called to the lost sheep of Israel. Paul knew he was an apostle to the gentiles.

    Do you know the coverage area of your calling whether on the job or ministry?

    In ministry you must know: your job functions, job description and job specification.

    Know your calling.

    You cannot swap your calling

    The Bible let us understand that God is the one who calls – before we were born. Based on unique characteristics he has fashioned you for a cause and office.

    Jer 1:5 Even right in our mother’s womb.

    Based on divine programming what is made cannot unmake itself. Your strength of delivery is knowing your office… The office isn’t for you but a responsibility to your world and community and the world.

    Our scriptures for tonight are:

    1 Corinthian 12:4-12; Eph 4:7-16
    Because of our time, I’ll bring out salient points from those Scriptures.

    1 Corinthians 12:4-7 KJV
    Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. [5] And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. [6] And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. [7] But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.

    Looking at the Scriptures above we can deduce that gifts, administrative capacity and operation of the work of ministry all comes from God. So, it is settled that each of us cannot change our office. What we are to do depends on what God had earmarked for us
    Always remember: God is our employer, he decides what’s to be done, and he equips us accordingly

    Let’s look at this also: *Differences of operation and administration:

    Two people may be called into apostolic calling but their capacity will be different… Due to purpose and intent of God

    No matter how much a corn tries, it cannot grow as tall as a mahogany. This is why you cannot compete with somebody else in the true sense of it.

    What you can do in life is becoming the best version of you. You cannot be somebody else. You are coded differently. In other way, face your life, make it the best you can.

    Sometimes when we see a very luminous empire of somebody else we tend to be like that. Many have died struggling to be like someone else. As our physical structure are molded differently so is our internal configuration, anointing, grace and capacity.

    My biggest prayer: Let me not struggle with things I am not created for. In Jesus name.

    1 Corinthians 12:6-7,11 KJV
    And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. [7] But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. [11] But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.

    In a nutshell, God is the one working in us to profit us all.

    This is often the erroneous zone: we often think God gave us gifts and anointing as a means to embellish our greed. No, God gave us gifts so that we can be of benefits to our world.

    Nothing is made for itself. Our usefulness to others through the divine gifts causes us to become priceless, therein is our reward.

    Fundamentally, we are made as blessings to the world.

    Another Scriptures for the day is Ephesians
    Ephesians 4:7,11 KJV
    But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. [11] And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

    We can see that grace is given according to a measure. Each man has a measure and capacity per time.

    Verse 11, we can see that it’s God who gives out gifts and ministries.

    No man takes it upon himself.
    In the real sense: nobody can make you what God has not designated you to be.

    Many have been grounded to a halt because they tend to function in the wrong office.

    Some senior fellow carried the anointing oil and felt good to make you a pastor, evangelist or an apostle?

    You will fall like pack of cards if God isn’t in it.
    Whatever man makes you will crumble and will not stand the test of time.
    Somebody made you a pastor. When you’re no longer in his good book he take it back because it’s man-made.

    If God anoints you, it remains upon you:

    The gift and calling of God is without repentance. Calling and ministries aren’t about what you do. It’s about who you are.

    Joseph was separated from his brother from childhood… Calling and capacity.

    Judah before royalty was established in Israel has been earmarked for the throne and kingship

    Jacob and Esau were designated accordingly before birth.

    Find your place and function in it, therein is the profit to everyone.

    You are made to benefit others*

    Ephesians 4:11-12 KJV
    And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; [12] For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

    Looking at the above and the Scriptures in 1 Corinthian 12 we deduce that we are made to perfect others and help others to function in greater capacity.

    Finally, the bottom line is: Find your place wherein God has fashioned for you. Express yourself within that orbit. Don’t go beyond that limit.

    Example to serve in closing:

    Peter was the administrative head of the church… The first married pope so to say
    When Paul came on stage, he was extraordinary in grace, operation and calling. Yet he didn’t not usurp Peter’s office.
    He was called to be an apostle to the gentiles. He didn’t look down on this office.

    The Bible said: He magnified his apostolic office. At the end of the day, the man called to be an apostle at the backside became so visible that he was welcomed by the elders and outperformed others in function.

    Therefore, it’s not what you’re called to do that’s important but how you function in your calling.

    Let me end with this quote of Martin Luther King Junior:

    If a man is called to be a street sweeper, he should sweep streets even as a Michaelangelo painted, or Beethoven composed music or Shakespeare wrote poetry. He should sweep streets so well that all the hosts of heaven and earth will pause to say, ‘Here lived a great street sweeper who did his job well.

  • THE OBSCURE PERFORMER

     

    David was prepared in the wilderness.

    It was a lonely place. The capacity to bear the lonely place gives vital preparation for the launch.

    Those who change their world aren’t prepared in the public arena.

    They aren’t public analysts, motivational speakers or the activists. This occupation are for some fellows.

    The influencers are system developers, those who discover the foundational principles, the designers and inventors.

    They journey through paths not often walked, the unknown and novel. They search out the secret of things and beings.

    ……………………………….

    May we be prepared before stepping out.

    Our dilemma: we want to showcase before learning and having – the social media syndrome.

    This is why the world is content to raise the herds. Rushing out without tools or preparation.

    The discipline to stay humble to make ourselves the finest of beings is more important than the strive to be known or famous.

    The art of revealing our inner quality is hard, because the earth subscribe to the embellishments of the outward.

    Yet like the carvings of Michel Angelo if you stay long with the marble at Florence in the sun and rain:

    The world will come.

    Just keep building values. Let God be involved vitally.

    I’m not saying it’s going to be easy to be lonely, perspiring and aspiring. But as God will, the time comes:

    Even when you are ostracised like Jephthah they will seek you out.

    Even when you’re sold to slavery and imprisonment like Joseph you’ll be discovered.

    Then you will stand before the kings to present the answer.

    And your word will become like jewels of diamond among the golds just because you’ve chosen the ancient path of obscure performers

    LEADERSHIP AND CAPACITY

    My prayer is: God will speak to our hearts. And may he help us occupy our places in destiny in Jesus name.

    The essence of the topic among other reasons:

    1. Is to demystify what leadership is using scriptural truths

    2. Help you position yourself for the leadership place only you are uniquely prepared for

    Paul said, they that compare themselves with themselves are not wise. Each of us is unique. We possess different grace and capacity.

    No two people are equally disposed with similar role and purpose in life.

    You’re one in a million. All that God wants of you isn’t to be like anybody but to be you. The further we move from ourselves the more mess we make of our destiny.

    This is the path to frustration and stagnation
    We have had many people who were carried away by the shining light of a superior or famous leader.

    Instead of cultivation of their own capacity, they pack up to watch the dazzling brilliance of the superstar.

    Then in watching their own destiny burn out.
    We are candles lighted for a time and season, let’s not hide our brilliance.

    As I write this I remember an elderly man who God called into ministry in his midlife. Instead of heading the call he followed his friend to start a venture. The venture thrived and he forgot what he was called to be.

    He grew old and retired… Callously he was retired empty handed by his friend. When we are not in the calling we suffer.

    At old age (quarter to) he went to start what’s God’s original purpose in life. This in his old age.

    We are all born to lead in one capacity or the other, but dependent of his divine programs

    *Scriptural Narratives
    1. Servants With Talents
    Matthew 25:14-30
    Jesus told a parable of 3 servants.

    The truth learned from the story:

    *1. The servants were given different numbers of talents
    It means we are not equally endowed in life.

    We have different capacities to do. There’s nothing we can do about this.

    You cannot change your configuration.

    2. There’s no room for competition or rivalry
    The master knew that he didn’t give them equal numbers of talents.
    3. All that God expects is best use of our talents, capacity, gifts, etc.
    4. It’s not the number of talents you have but how best you use the talents
    5. When you’re careless about the use of your talents you will be swallowed up.

    The master said: take the talent from the unprofitable servant and give it to those who have made profit of theirs.

    The question is: What were you called to do or be in life? Have you forgotten or buried it?
    *This indicates that the first thing is knowing what you’re called to do or be.

    Who are you?
    This is the question many people failed to answered until they go into the grave. It’s a question nobody can help you answer but you… And this you do through the Holy Spirit and his illumination upon your heart.

    Can you answer it boldly: Who are you?

    The day you know who you’re, that day you’ll also know who you are not. Knowing who you’re takes you away from activities that are not suited and knowing who you are takes indolence and idleness away.

    The day you know who you are you begin to dance to a different music.

    Those who don’t know their talents lose their identity in life. The sorrow, the pain, the trouble is: many people die nameless, uncelebrated and buried as if they never came to the earth.
    Those who don’t know their worth die without a tag, identity or recognition.

    Those who don’t know who they are serve as the firewood to cook other people’s vision.
    No matter how small, every man has a talent, a priceless gift by which he or she can serve his or her generation.
    The sad thing is that many of us keep our gazes on the talents of those with ten talents and we fail to use our one talent
    This is why WORLD CHANGERS NETWORK was created:

    Specifically, we create this group to help those with one talents, those who think they don’t matter to realize that their talents are important.

    Without you, those with 10 talents aren’t complete.

    Make judicious use of your talents.

    I am not complete without your talents and you’re not complete without mine.

    We are a network, joined together yet, each of us is amazing.

    I am amazing, I am unique.

    The world isn’t complete without me.

    I’m strategically created to affect my world.

    I am.

    You must realize and recognize your worth.

    Stop living a buried life.

    Stop living a wretched life. You need no ones permission to shine – heaven has endowed you with glory and honour.

    As I round up, remember you don’t determine the talents given you. God determines this.

    All he wants is the best use of it.
    At the end of the day, the multiplication factor is dependent on how best you use what’s given you.

    Remember, everyone who makes the best use of his talent can find greatness at the appearing of the master.

  • KEEP GOING

    KEEP GOING

    Some of us don’t have the miracle wand. We toil and labour hard believing and hoping. Patiently waiting on God, not despairing and not tiring.

    The reason is that we are set as examples of those who through patience and hope wait on the promise of God.

    By the experience we learn that it’s not the result that’s important as much as the process. This process makes us better day by day.

    When you’ve done all you should, my brother and sister, stand. The ability to stand is where character is refined.

    Don’t be weary. In spite of a thousand defeats, stand.

    When you don’t know where to face, stand.

    I’ll not come on this platform to paint a life without its own challenge of scarcity, of pains, of disappointment and many seemingly unanswered prayer.

    If I do this, I’ll not be a good representative of Christ.

    Men of God aren’t actors. They like the high priests share in the suffering of the people. By this they know what it feels like.

    Pain is real and victory is more real if we tarry.

    The Bible is a living word because it shows how men through faith overcomes.

    The Bible shows Joseph who for several years was imprisoned for offence he knew nothing of.

    Paul who was imprisoned more yet wrote good number of the Gospel from the prison attest to the reality of life. No matter what happens around you, keep going!

    Of Jacob who for twenty years struggle to fend for a family, yet he didn’t give up.

    How about Abraham, Job and our Lord Jesus?

    In spite of the trouble victory waits.

  • THE SHADOW & THE REALITY

    Romans 11:36 KJV
    For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.

    My purpose for this short exhortation is to help us have a new and deeper grasp of God.
    This is it: all things consist in him
    This is the purpose of life: handing over all things to him without exceptions.

    This is our journey of faith: learning to hand over and hands off.

    Let’s go deeper:

    In him
    Through him
    To him… Are all things

    This invariably means that if you want to really live you must make God all in all like a total baptism whereby you are immersed into him.
    Without God who owns the universe we cannot make meaning out of life. Are you tired, frustrated or depress? It indicates one thing: You’ve been doing things by your power and capacity.

    God takes away the pressure when we hands over. The more we hands off and hands over the more we enjoy life and life begin to have meaning. God doesn’t plan evil for us, what brings evil is the path we took. In our blindness we enter into thorns.

    I shake my head when some people demarcate their lives:

    They say things like this

    1. Business is different

    2. Sex… God understand

    3. Who to marry, time is gone, let me go my way.

    When we abandon the course of heaven this leads to being let down and frustration. If you continue that way of self assertion without God, it leads to a VERY turbulent end.

    John 3:16 KJV
    For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

    He wants you save from that destructive path that’s already bringing you frustration.
    Where you’re he’s there with you, he sees you and your thought.

    As you open up and say: Father, help me. Save me from my sins, evil and self assertion, stubbornness and will by the mercy of Christ.

    As you do this he will come:
    Don’t allow the weight to crash you. Even in that utter despondency, weakness and sin, he’s able to save. God is seeking to save those who are utterly cast down, doomed and perishing.

    Romans 5:6,8 KJV
    For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. [8] But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

    Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

    In this season of global fear, restlessness, perils and poverty, only Jesus has the key of peace. Only God has true glory. Those worldly fancy goes with tears and restlessness.

    This is abundant life and our reality: If you’re of God, the reality is that no evil is permitted to prevail over you.

    I’m doing this to help you recognize shadow and reality please. Don’t spend the rest of your life pursuing shadow. No matter the tasteful dividend today, it leaves pain tomorrow.
    No matter how good an evil opportunity is it brings destruction.

    Jesus talked about a farm where there were wheat and weeds.

    He said: leave them to grow together… Their fruits will reveal their identity.

    And then the weed will go into fire.

    How do you recognize evil and righteousness?

    BY THEIR FRUITS… By their fruit their ends are determined. May the Lord plant our feet on the solid rock of Christ.

    Don’t walk by the shadow to hell.

    What the Lord is saying to one he’s saying to us all.

    Life is beautiful only in Christ.

    Every colourful attempt of man is ephemeral and of weak foundation.

    After a teaching like this as we yield to drop the shadows, miracles begin to happen. Jesus comes to magnify himself, heals the sick, brings prosperity, open doors and help his children.
    Today, receive Christ into you

    Stand up for Jesus.

    He is the reality

    Hallelujah
    Today receive freedom
    Today, receive help unto you
    Today, receive peace.

    REAL LIFE STORY 2

    I was there during the wedding and was given conspicuous position. The wedding was great and well attended with personalities and dignitaries from the area. It’s obvious this sister caught a good fish from the ocean of mankind. The guy was handsome, cool headed and delectable. It was obvious this sister will not suffer or have to bear regular nuances of lack among the regular.

    The dowry was an overflow of anointing.

    What a lucky sister!
    Iyan to ma yoo eeyan, ooju lati mo.
    Seeing is believing.

    True to the sight. The marriage was blissful. The man was up and doing satisfying his wife. She didn’t complain not for once.

    Then I received phone call recently: I’m no longer in his house. He fought me, beat me and drove me out of the house.

    Three years gone by. They had kid(s), the man made her his treasurer and open a beautiful shop for her. Some thought she used diabolical power to gain control of him. Their love was pure and true. 

    I asked her and she told me, his business was down and for this reason he came down on the shop as his hope. As the shop dwindles covid-19 came in and made matter worse.

    She was advised: Stop feeding him from the shop so that he can come back to his senses.
    The man began to struggle to get what to eat. Then stopped feeding or attending to her and the children. He feeds himself.

    The house was divided.

    Then she refused to open up to him sexually. Fire was on the mountain but she was oblivious of where all this was heading.

    The man became aggressive and drove her away and away from the shop. Then she calls.
    What lessons can we bring up and out of the story to help family finances?

    Lesson: Be careful those who give you advice.
    Let me give this instance: I’ve been in deep holes many time that it was my wife that bailed me out.

    Once in a while we fail and the wife or husband is important to stand by us then. Seriously, ignorance is to believe the man will always be well boxed up up financially. This utopian expectation has destroyed many homes.

    He is not God

    Sometimes he gets confuse like a small child.
    We can see it here that the one who fall is not spelt out whether the man or the woman
    One of my advice to her: Standing together will fast track healing of finances than fighting.

    In her case they are separated but work is ongoing to get them together again.
    When anyone fall, it’s the duty of the other to pull up the other up.

    Another advice I gave her: Peradventure the man isn’t ready to rise again once beaten, the woman should know that double barrel grace is coming on her.

    I told her, God seeing her faithfulness can multiply her ten times and beyond. Instead of fighting.

    This is why we are bringing this discussion together: Women should avoid the painful path of financial squabbles that may destroy the home: what if the man is paralyzed or dead? She should find a means of moving on with her life. I know this may be a hard reality for women who were always dependent on their spouses.

    Life goes on:

    This is a hard time everywhere. When the money becomes scarce during Covid-19 don’t put a global problem on your spouse’s head.
    It’s no ones fault.

    If there’s anything to do, this is the time to live in perfect understanding, coming together and praying together as husband and wife. Don’t make your spouse look stupid this time around.

    Even world presidents behave stupid and confuse than you this period of Covid-19. Your spouse and you have even tried that you are still alive not depressed. Even in my family, few days past we had to pray specially on our finances. This time and season will pass away. Let it not be reason to destroy your home and marriage and let not mere covid-19 separate your home

  • ADVICE FOR A LADY

    I saw a lady crying for love.

    It goes this way: a guy came to a lady and in the manner of men he asked for love.

    Immediately the man had his way by having sex with her he stood as if he never knew her before.

    She began calling but the guy was gone without looking back at her tears nor considering her pains.

    She cried like somebody who lost something that cannot be recovered. Indeed it was a lost.

    That was my dream.

    To a young lady out there – it is a warning to you.

    Men when they want sex talked about love. Even the man of God sings uncommon song of love when he wants sex. That’s men.

    You cannot talk of what kind of love a man had for you until after sex.

    Don’t think you know men well enough, keep sex for marriage day unless you want to be heartbroken many times in life. By doing this you know the man with the right intentions.

    Don’t be used, avoid that irreparable ruin. Some don’t recover from the emotional hurt.

  • FAMILY FINANCE – 1

    REAL LIFE DISCUSSION: FOCUS IS TO HELP TURN FAMILY FINANCES AROUND

    Many home’s inability to handle their common finance brings an end to a glorious relationship. I’m going to use real life illustrations. As much as possible couples will need to share the contents together and work on a resolution that will help them.

    My prayer: God will speak to our hearts in Jesus name.

    Here is a scripture I want couples to commit to heart:

    Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 KJV
    Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. [10] For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up. [11] Again, if two lie together, then they have heat: but how can one be warm alone ? [12] And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.

    Verse 10 is the crucial scripture for tonight discussion:

    For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up.

    I’m not going to preach here. I’ll tell us stories. Then let’s pick the inherent lessons. I will be using fictitious names and if you share similar experiences it’s coincidence.

    Case 1
    I know of a woman who works in a moderately good organization. It was clear she was the breadwinner and she’s not hiding it. She says it and everyone in the neighbourhood knew that. Her stepping and carriage all shows that she’s the controller.

    We could see it in how the children relates with the father. The husband is a struggling man in every sense who’s trying to save his honour. He was ready to do anything… I mean anything.

    As I’m saying this story I cry within for the man. And I’m praying for every man and woman in such situation that God will intervene and raise you up. This do happen to women also whereby the man who works will be so full of pride that he begins to treat the wife like a dustbin. Such attitude makes the weaker one have a miserable life.

    If you vaunt your achievement against your spouse you are not wise and it’s shear wickedness. Don’t be angry, please follow through. This message is to save you from a bad ending please.

    The story continues: in the midst of the struggling the man had opportunity of distributing a product. It began to grow but needing more supports and being weighed with growing responsibilities. He needs a transport system for distribution and a little more capitalization.

    Meanwhile the wife had a car and changing a car – instead of helping with the older vehicle she wants him to pay for it… A struggling man.

    Her position was he has squandered so much in the past.

    The point is: the man is beginning to show some commitment and seriousness but his past business failures were his tags. The wife and her family refused to see any transformation. A close friend will go to her regularly, don’t allow this man to crash, support his business, let it grow. She felt they have to share responsibilities knowing that she’s favoured.

    Finally, a little challenge here and there the man’s business was weighed down with too much load of financial responsibilities.

    Then the business died.

    The entire family responsibilities now became 100% the wife’s. Within few years her finances also crashed and struggling due to too much loads which she bears.

    This is the financial wisdom:

    The marriage in narration is a kind of cohabitation which isn’t different from single life. Marriages that operates like the one in the story are only living in fool paradise. The essence of marriage is to blend resources in a way that leads to promotion and abundance of all.

    How was she supposed to act? She needs to sow her seeds into the business of the husband. The old car would have made the business easier. This means more capacity and distribution will lead to more income.

    By now his business would have been bigger and possibly bigger than his wife’s which would have redound to abundance around the family.

    Now that they need more money his supposed thriving business will become the cash cow.

    With impatient she was party to killing the goose that lay the golden egg.

Let not the stronger think that’s how things will continue to be. Whatever you do for your spouse has a way of blessing you, vindicating you or haunting you. Choose one
    God who puts it in your hands isn’t making a mistake. A miserable mortal should never pridefully vaunt his wealth.

    Nobody knows tomorrow isn’t a curse it’s a statement. Your thinking should be how do you magnify it, create family wealth, invest in your partner, make your partner a resourceful person, etc.

    When it’s only you in the financial picture of your home I shake my head pitifully for you. I have a story recently… A woman had a very rich husband.

    He died suddenly…

    The wife end up picking a menial job to fend for her struggling family, now that the bread winner is gone. When you’re not there you should have someone to keep the family legacy especially financial buoyancy in order to procure stable life for your children. So if you’re the breadwinner, find a means of strengthening your partner’s finances; let’s plan for the unforeseeable future.

    No matter the big dream of the man, since he didn’t invest in the wife his children will go from the high estate to take a place among the locals. I have known big men children who became near beggars… Struggling later in the future.

    The best place to lock your wealth is within your family. Do you think your wife is a waster. Train her for your sake. He has ruined many funds in that business. Remember the Bible didn’t say your first business will be a flyer.

    The Bible says… Sow in seven, ye in eight for you do not know that which will bring forth
    I’ve failed more than many of my mates. Yet, my wife stood by me.

    The giants fail, squander and struggle but because they have a wife or husband standing beside them… You don’t know what they have been through until they tell you. That man who is successful is having a wife who stood with him through the rough days of failure.

    A woman who raised great children in spite of her successful career is because she didn’t thrashed her husband. Remember, money alone do not make a home. But if you stay through and true… You’ll make more money and stability later in life.

    Hey, let not the momentary financial door you are currently enjoying destroy your marital joy. Who told you your spouse is written off?

    Peradventure you divorce. Then the no-do-well spouse finally learn the game of money he or she may be far wealthy. Let’s be careful.

    You have invested ten times yet nothing great coming forth, see the genuineness of your spouse and trustfully support again. Help again until he or she stands. When he or she stands it will be for your family’s benefit.
    You are afraid that if he makes it he may divorce you? Leave that to God to vindicate you. Today that you have the capacity invest in your spouse.

    Why do I have to share this?
    I don’t want you to be too selfish and non- sacrificial towards the future.

    The future is pregnant. Let not the stronger think that’s how things will continue to be. Whatever you do for your spouse has a way of blessing you, vindicating you or haunting you. Let your wealth and abundance be a blessing to that home.

    1. Finally, don’t look at the lazy spouse and act based on that.

    Tell God, grant me grace to handle the home.

    That lazy spouse may be a giant who just need to wake up from his or her slumber.
