  • THE ELEVATED MAN

    As I write this piece this morning, the butterfly comes to mind. Its progress from egg to larva, larva to pupa and to adult (imago) of what we call metamorphosis reinforces what I’m about to discuss. The progress to a beautiful butterfly isn’t a day journey.

    Each stage is true of the butterfly and at each stage the butterfly is complete but with different capacity.

    The difference in the changes in butterfly is spontaneous if nothing hampers it BUT man’s metamorphosis to higher form is deliberate and a matter of choice.

    As we enter this new week deliberately make up your mind to make a shift in becoming a better you.

    The beauty of man’s glorious estate is its infinite capacity for transformation.

    1 Corinthians 2:9 KJV
    But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

    By birth man is by design elevated above everything else created on earth. This includes the capacity to be inspired to reach out to outstanding heights.

    Job 32:8 KJV
    But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.

    Every invention and creative ingenuity of man proceed by the capacity God imputed into man. Scientific and technological breakthroughs basically proceed from God not the devil.

    Inferentially, you too can be inspired to do amazing thing with your destiny.

    From today, make up your mind to set time in meditations to be inspired to reach the stars. Make it an utmost assignment that in 3,4 or ten years time you’ll have been so transformed that those who used to know you will be confused about your new person.

    When Jesus healed the man born blind people began to argue whether he is the one or not.

    Let your change be so overwhelming that there will be shift in your personality, appearance, status and family.

    A family in chaos can change for the good. A poor man can become a millionaire and a back bencher can turn out the much talked about celebrity.

    Man is infinite and limitless in what he can become. Like the butterfly, changes in feature can be so great that there wouldn’t be any basis of comparison with the past. So you can make your life positively.

    The question is: to what degree do you want to change.

    Your most significant transformation should come from your spirit being because the changes that take place in our spirit has the capacity to affect every area of our lives.

    *So Jesus told Nicodemus, you must be born again; and to you and me he is saying the same.*

    What a new spirit does is a great favour we do to ourselves: it makes it possible to sit with Christ as we take on the presence of the Holy Spirit.

    Ephesians 2:6 KJV
    And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

    When we are born again we are in active form for the Holy Ghost to brood upon. And with the Holy Ghost in and upon us, nothing shall be impossible with us.

    Romans 8:11 KJV
    But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

    When you are born again, open up your being, let the Holy Ghost brood upon you and get you elevated by the working of his power.

    The Spirit is available to enable you to greater heights.

  • CREATIVE AND COMPETITIVE LIFE: THE LIFE THAT’S TRULY YOURS, DISCOVERING THE CREATIVE LIFE

    We all want to get to that point where all things are ours. Everything set and position for us. But many missed the path to that blissful state of rest. We strive to get there but every moment we see ourselves still striving even at the top.

    If you want to come extraordinary you’ve to understand the difference between creative living and competition.

    Those who compete never attain and are sufferers in life. They never get to the point of satisfaction and fulfilment. There’s someone to impress or contend with. A restful man is a man on his own defined journey to greatness.

    This is what Paul said: They who compare themselves with themselves are not wise.

    You are distinct. Paul wasn’t abusing but advising against the hurtful tendency to compete in life. It’s a painful path to choose.

    Don’t scramble for life. In the creative realm nothing is short of supply. All things are limitlessly available. Create your world, stop competing for space. Blaze a new trail. Stand out.

    In creative living you don’t think of short supply for you know that what you want is available in a seed. The creative person is the man made in God’s likeness. You don’t have to harm or kill your neighbours to get what you want. You don’t have to scheme or plunder others to get to the top.

    Think like God, who when he needs a thing create it: you are made in his image. Create your world stop the scrambling.

    When Moses wanted to cross the sea he had a staff.

    Elisha had Elijah’s mantle.

    Elijah had small jar of flour of the widow.

    The fathers always believe there is a way out… That’s creative thinking.

    Covid-19? There’s a way out.

    Recession? There’s a way out if you believe.

    In the creative world, nothing is short of supply and no barrier to your Promised Land. Stop grabbing for life, you are a rising force if you open up your creative reservoir.

    Until you become a creative force, you cannot know true rest. And Jesus’ promise is rest for your weary soul.

    Say unto your soul: REST.

    Leave those who compete for life and appearance, come rest and enjoy life all through and in abundance.

    Caution : Those who compete breakdown after winning the laurel. That shall not be your portion in Jesus name.
